Re: The Oldest Wolf in the World!

That's a very nice wolf. It seemed to be quite friendly, but why were the humans treating the wolf like a dog? In studies I have read they never treat the wolf like a dog. Madadh was unique in the sense that she was raised by humans from a very early age, mere days old. She also remained at Wolf Wa...

Re: Pokémon

What do you guys think of the new Pokes?

Looks like the Legendaries are woofs!

Drednaw is cool. Corvinight looks cool, but the name and the look remind me of Meta Night!

Re: The Oldest Wolf in the World!

What a gentle girl! Very dog-like in her age (and living conditions of course :P). I saw an interview of that sanctuary recently that featured her in it.

Re: Weird things I found hidden deep inside my computer

Not on my computer per se, but I was re-organizing an email account and found the journal entries of an ex boyfriend from 2013 who I am friends with now. They detailed the miserable time he was having at his family's cottage. I shared them with him for a laugh. He/we have changed so much since then!

Re: Stress, pneumonia revealed to have killed Isle Royale wolves

Thanks, I was wondering what happened to the male who made it to the island after checking out the winter report.

Re: Annual Isle Royale report divulges drama on wolves

Fascinating stuff! The longtime pair look strikingly alike. Interesting that the female consistently rebukes the males advances in recent times. I wonder if it is related to their deformed pup that died; I'm not sure if wolves can make that sort of inference. Something has changed since then anyhow...

Re: WQ 2.7 costs $10. Is it worth it?

Despite WQ 3.0 being a free upgrade if you already bought 2.7, I'd be happy to contribute some more dollars to the new version! Happy to see this project still gaining traction :).

It looks clunky, but you're going to have to tell me if it works - if nothing else, your name seems to be clickable when the user id is provided even if the post ID and time are not. I got the Notification for this, but I suppose the real test would be on a topic one has not commented on before! ED...

Re: Copycat Roblox game of WolfQuest

I think your explanation of copyright here is very good Frodo1! I agree with you that this is not a threat to WQ--if anything, it could direct new people seeking a better experience to this game.

Cool find though tammyu!

Re: Forum Suggestions V2

I just thought of a potential workaround to pinging a user. Let's say you are commenting on a topic that User X has never commented on before. If you used quote code with their username, would the user get a notification for the topic anyway? I haven't tested this out or seen an example of it, but ...

Re: Vest footage of wolves attacking a hunting dog (Content Warning)

I googled in finnish and man those vests are quite expensive! They seem to do their job though. I have seen another video like this and heard of many similiar cases. Not sure what to think. The dogs are in a lot of danger it seems if the owner is some distance away and unable to protect the dog... ...

Re: First test of oral rabies vaccine brings hope

They have a similar program being implemented in Ontario, Canada right now, but it is targeted to racoon, fox, and skunk. The ads were coming up on my Facebook news feed. Many people were voicing their concerns in the comments, but they seemed to be very on top of replying which was nice. Mostly, p...
