Re: At World's End
The way it's done in the most recent Fallout game is the message "You cannot go that way" pops up several feet from the actual invisible wall. The message is part of the HUD and does not interrupt gameplay, but simply warns the player that they are reaching the map border.

Re: WolfQuest Roleplay Thread
As they watched the pack inspect the pup, Tuweni caught wind of an elk herd through a strong breeze. She quietly slipped away with a quick ear-flick at Acaji, who followed once he, too, caught the distant scent. They trotted out of the territory and away from the other wolves to try once more at fi...

Re: Wolf OR-25 Detected in California
I hope so. Thankfully OR-7 stayed out of trouble during his stay and the Shasta pack seem to have been good so far, and it seems the California ranchers have been somewhat accepting. Sadly it only takes one "bad" wolf to start a firestorm.

Re: What is your top five favorite animals?
This is actually pretty difficult, but I'm gonna cheat a bit and combine the canids
1. Wild canids (primarily wolves, maned wolves, raccoon dogs)
2. Mink
3. Cheetahs (especially king and ticked morphs)
4. Secretary birds
5. Thylacines (extinct; aka Tasmanian Tiger/wolf)

Re: WolfQuest Roleplay Thread
Acaji was quite happy to be allowed into the traveling party. He was still hungry and the elk were quite healthy as of late. it would be much easier to hunt big game in a pack, albeit a temporary one. As much as Tuweni wanted to be far away from the strangers, she stayed. She was not going anywhere...

Re: Ideas for New Episodes V2
Thought of some more -eat coyotes, maybe only when the player wolf is at low health -fix the plane in AM, since it currently pauses midair, then flies through the trees -ability to move the camera via the mouse, including looking up and down -sprinting on a press-and-hold key that drains stamina mu...

Re: WolfQuest Roleplay Thread
((Welcome back, Kamaal and Sin)) "You're going somewhere?" Acaji said, head tilting slightly, "Mind if we tag along for a bit?" Tuweni's head popped up from the bush she was hiding behind. As she was about to yell at Acaji, she heard a branch snap. She ducked down again to gobble up the last bits of...

Re: Ideas for New Episodes V2
Good to see the official return of this topic. Most of my ideas are more on a technical level, to avoid repeats -real time wolf encounters; a small wolf can win a fight if it's clever enough. Could work using the same 4 choices considering there are already whine and growl keys. I mostly just want ...

Re: WolfQuest Roleplay Thread
((Hmm how to explain it... Basically, everyone works together to create a story. You continue off of the most recent posts, but only as your character. To start off, make a character and write them into the story.)) From their rock, Acaji strained his ear to listen in on the conversation, while Tuwe...

Re: WolfQuest Roleplay Thread
Stepping through the smoldering ashes of the fire, Tuweni and Acaji continued their search for easy food. Acaji grumbled in annoyance as he sniffed at the remains of a rabbit far too burnt to be edible. They had caught a few small rodents, dying from the smoke, but it seemed their luck had run out....

Re: Fur Trade: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
I can't say that I agree with it either, just that I've come to accept that it is a major industry. Much like the meat industry, it unfortunately does require animals to be born fated to die early. Sadly in some cases, ethical and economical just aren't meant to mix.

Fur Trade: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Please note that I want to keep this a fairly neutral discussion thread, so please refrain from getting into arguments for or against either side. I am by no means a vegetarian; I come from a family that loves animals, but also loves to eat animals. A couple years ago, I became fascinated with the ...

Re: WolfQuest Roleplay Thread
((I have two characters, if it's alright. They're a pair, but they won't be getting into anything against the rules, just traveling and hunting, kinda like the Amethyst Mountain gameplay)) Tuweni: three year old female; mostly ivory white with a black dorsal and shoulder cross stripe bordered thinl...
