Re: What weird interactions have you seen between AI animals in WolfQuest 3?

My favorite encounter was during beta testing, when I ran into two boar grizzlies going at each other over a carcass. It was so stunning that I kind of just stopped to watch from a safe distance, because holy moly it was intense! I've only ever seen it once, but man oh man I hope I'll get to see it...

Re: WolfQuest, Graphics Cards, and You

Yes, it's NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050. At "Good" I have 50-60 fps, if I choose "Beautiful" setting fps drops to 30 fps. But the thing disturb my gameplay the most is hitches when the world is loading new area. I was in situation when I am fighting a wolf at the spot where I guess was a border of two ar...

Re: Wolfquest 3 screeshots and accounts

Hey Lamar! You can take screenshots by entering photo mode and pressing spacebar, or (if using the Steam version of the game) by pressing f12. You can also capture your whole screen by pressing the print screen key (may be labeled "prt scr"). To access print screen images you will need to paste the...

Re: I Do...Do You?

Because you (LoboLoco) said that wolves outside the park aren’t closely related to your wolf, but packs inside the park could be, that implies that a pack within the park is where your wolf is from. I’m very curious, which pack that would be? Or if it’s just unspecified and all packs within the par...

This is great news! The camera mode makes me think that, once early access has been released, it could be fun to have a screenshot competition with the winning pictures being featured on the new website.
Ooooh, that's a really cool idea, Zawki! :)

Re: Copycat Roblox game of WolfQuest

This is an area where copyright gets a little tricky, because when it comes down to it, WolfQuest isn't necessarily an "original" idea. I don't mean that in a derogatory sense, but strictly speaking, the premise of WolfQuest is "the life of a wolf in Yellowstone". No one can really own that premise...

Re: The Music of Sound

You do not understand how amazing it is to finally know what a Rough Grouse sounds like! Me and my friends always hear it in the current game and we don't know what it is. The sandhill cranes were a nice addition, nice to know I won't have to wait until fall to hear them now :D. I also loved the ot...

Re: Looking for Trouble

Actually, that's a quirk that needs refining. Once an elk's health gets real low, you have to bite it on the neck to kill it....but that darn spike kept standing up and running again, so it was very hard to get to the neck. We'll be tweaking that so it isn't so difficult. I think it's actually good...

Re: Buying a computer? Some suggestions

I sincerely apologize, Frodo1, I thought I thanked you for this response a while ago! This was the most sincere piece of knowledge I've received since my search for an upgraded system. I went to my local Best Buy and met a fellow and had got to talking about what you had shared with me, and I was a...

If I recall, someone told me they found a mother cougar on Amethyst Mountain and followed her to her den, where she had cubs.

Re: Beta Testing WolfQuest 3

This is definitely the tail end of the development process, but not the end of the road just yet. This is the finishing touches/polishing stage, pretty much, where it's less about actually adding content and more about fine-tuning what's already there. That said, it's hard to say how long that'll t...

Re: Buying a computer? Some suggestions

I'm currently looking for something that can handle multi-tasking (Microsoft, music in the background, speedy internet) and support the game or larger-filed programs, allowing it to run smooth. I know laptops are slightly expensive, but if it's a little easier on my wallet, that'd be a big bonus to...

Re: Buying a computer? Some suggestions

Oh silly me, I did not even think to look at the date! Thank you PaperPaws for the heads up! Where would be a suitable forum to make a topic for the subject? I’d hate to place the topic in the wrong area! You don't even need to make a new topic-- you can ask your questions right here :) Lots of us ...
