I find it SO annoying that kids my age that I know don't know/ appreciate Legend of Zelda. Kids who play it only played it on DS and say it was awesome. All I can think is: Wow. Ah..Zelda. My first RPG ever. Twilight Princess was good, but Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask will always be the best. ;)

I couldn't really relate to any of the characters, myself. The unoriginal plot took a backseat to bad characterisation.

Besides, I personally think the "nicknames" are cool.
I gotta say, man, some of the nicknames reminded me too much of the Warriors series for me to take them seriously. ('-' )

It was all right. It's been a while since I've read it (and I've read many books after ward) but it didn't leave much of an impression on me. There were a ridiculous amount of 'suddenly's in that book. 'Twas crazy. Found a post on another forum that sums up my thoughts nicely: They were almost human...

I have my apprehensions about taking a look at this book. Lasky had problems maintaining a plot in the Ga'Hoole series (that movie looks pretty cool, though) and I'd hate for her to fail in the long run at wolves.
