Re: Amethyst Mountain launch

I have seen this pic on images many times, I actually have the same picture only slightly different color as my avatar on my other desktop. I was just kidding. I took the pic and edited in Photoshop. I can tell it isn't yours, cause the eyes ain't blue. I'm gonna drop it now, though before I get in...

Re: Amethyst Mountain launch

I've noticed that the red arrow is gone. Sad, I really liked that. It's harder to know where I'm going without it. I tried using my arrow keys to turn, but it didn't work. Neither did the a + d keys. Maybe I should try disconnecting my mouse and doing it that way.

Re: What is the difference between a wolf and a dog?

Relation to the dog Much debate has centered on the relationship between the wolf and the domestic dog, though most authorities see the wolf as the dog's direct ancestor. Because the canids have evolved recently and different canids interbreed readily, untangling the relationships has been difficult...

Re: What is the difference between a wolf and a dog?

Another big difference, is that wolve's gene pool is not extremely varied like a dog's is. Wolves tend to all look about the same other than variances in pelt color and slight size differences. Dogs, on the other hand, have a very big gene pool. That is why there are only two (three according to som...

I have read that book also. It is awesome how the author makes it so believable, like it could happen in real life.

Re: If You Could Live With a Wolf Pack, Would You?

It will be very hard, so I guess I wouldnt be able to do it in the wild, unless I was a baby who grew up with them, which, in therory, can happen. Very, very slim chance of wolves raising a baby. Watched a different special on National Geographic where they debunked every single story about wild an...

Re: The Firekeeper series

As you can probably see, I am a big fan of the series also. I havn't had a chance to read the last one yet. My favorite character is Firekeeper. She knows who she is and no one can tell her otherwise. She is so strong and I really hope that she can find a way to be a wolf someday and be with B...

I downloaded mine for free from some site that my husband showed me. It's a site where you can download a bunch of old games like "Wolf" for free.

Re: Feds approve Wyo. wolf plan

I really don't approve of them getting hunted. I don't believe in hunting without intent to eat and very few people eat wolves. They should encourage them to spread out and extend their territories. Let the wolf return to their native lands. Yes, there would be some conflicts with that plan, but it ...

It sounds as if this lady has had all these wolves, except the parents, for their whole lives. If she let them free now, they'd all most likely die.

Re: Another wolf computer game.

Oh, I've had that game for years. If you need to know how to get to the game using DOSBox, here's how.... First, download the game and save it in the c: under a folder named wolf or whatever you want to name it. Open up DOS and type in the following: mount c c:\wolf c: wolf That's it! Now you can pl...

If You Could Live With a Wolf Pack, Would You?

I have enjoyed the Firekeeper series by Jane Lindskold for a long time now. It is a series about a girl who was raise by intelligent, language-using wolves, then returns to the humans and learn their ways. Don't worry, she still thinks of herself as a wolf! This led me to a question. How many of yo...

Re: Dreams of Wolves?

Eh, I don't like those dream meaning books/sites. They go by the mainstream public, but everyone is different, so it's kind of unbelievable that they could decode your dream just based on the average view of objects and things. I keep a dream diary and I go back and read about my dreams while thinki...
