Re: WolfQuest Game, Version 2.0.2, released!

This is nice :) So far, I think the mate does now help with hunting, at least in bringing down the health bar (I had an elk and saw its health dramatically decline all of a sudden, but no animations of the mate actually attacking the prey) The mate has yet to actually eat when he needs to though. ed...

Re: Almost there!

Man, hehe, even I'm getting a teeny bit anxious, though I blame that on my new graphics card and the fact that I can now run Wolfquest at full settings (with shadows!) at 40fps.

I wish you guys the best of luck and a speedy bug zapping session :)

Re: Wolf Colors, Patterns and Markings

Nice topic guys. Wolf fur color varies greatly by subspecies. While red/brown is a relatively uncommon color in North American grey wolves, however, it is not so uncommon in the eurasian wolf: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pg-photography/2586011009/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/zampa_natureview/33628...

Re: Cana's rant and a few more answers

I think its great what you guys are doing. I joined back in early '08 and I remember some of the crazy bugs that we had, (most notably for me was the one where our mates would run at the wall, lol) Getting them fixed before release is definitely worth it if you ask me. Also, heck, we've been waiting...

Re: Can a wolf be albino?

The only white tiger found in the wild was Mohan...and he was captured and bred with other tigers to produce white tigers in captivity. White tigers aren't really endagered...their used to shows and attractions because they look nice. Their not an albino, they just have a genetic mutation that make...

Re: 'My Dog is a Weapon'

You guys would be amazed at the "restricted breed lists" most apartments have. I've been hunting around lately, and while I can understand pitts being on the list, breeds like german shepherds (in particular) make no sense to me. GSDs are one of the most intelligent, trainable breeds, and are well k...

Re: Amethyst Mountain Deluxe update boosts performance

I think this one qualifies as a glitch. I was looking for the wolf in the Slough territory and didn't notice it until I was right on it, and I hit the jump button by mistake. Well, that resulted in my wolf impersonating Neo from the Matrix: http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/3267/levi1hg2.png After ...

Re: Amethyst Mountain Deluxe update boosts performance

I see from your screenshot that your browser seems to be having rendering problems, too, so it looks like you have an old video driver. Please try updating your video card drivers from the video card manufacturer and try again. If you still see the problem, then please send the screenshot link and ...

Re: Elk Hunt performance increased v 1.5.3 April 29, 2008

Hey, this is nice! I haven't killed an elk yet, but my mate and I had a bull walking backwards for about 20 minutes in circles... Does he ever run? The bears and the whole game run much more smoothly, though it seems to slow down after about 10 minutes of gameplay, but still, a wonderful improvement...

Re: Raised by hand - Are those cubs dogs or wolves? Or neither?

They are wolves, being hand raised doesn't turn them into dogs, it just removes their fear of humans (usually.) Human raised wolves are less inclined to listen as dogs do, and depending on where you live, you need a liscence to own one.

Re: Do blind wolves exist in wild alive?

:) Wolfie10 lol

People get disoriened in avalanches because they first get tossed around and then burried with no reference point as to which way is up. Its totally dark under all that snow, and they can't move at all.
