Re: What's Your Favorite Howl?

I don't get to really play 2.7 or have it right now... hehe... maybe in a few weeks or so. x.x BUT, those are all some really good howls in there. Hard to choose. I voted #4 in the poll, though I really do like just about all of them. I think the only one I don't care as much for is #6. * If you hav...

A gene structure commonly bred for in domestic dogs is lethal in wolves? Fascinating and weird.

Re: Cliff Notes

(Side note; you've probably noticed this, but the audio has some issues. The music is a tad loud in comparison to the voiceover, and I think the voiceover is mainly or completely coming from the left speaker?) Yeah, I finally upgraded to Final Cut Pro X and it didn't handle the audio in quite the s...

Re: Vote for a New Animal!

It's too bad pangolin isn't one of the options. I'd vote for that one if it was.
(Well, to be fair, pangolins don't live in the location the game is set in, so it wouldn't really make all that much sense to have them.)

Re: Mission Simpossible

Don't know if you're still looking for comments, but I'm making some anyway... LOL Field Guide Finds I saw it mentioned a few times, and I have to agree, some kind of a collectibles for a Field Guide would be awesome. It's a nice passive way to encourage exploring around maps and using different sen...

Re: Vote for a New Animal!

That is a very, very hard choice. I went with pronghorn because they are quite the different critter and live some impressive lives of migration... and they're crazy-fast when they want to run so would be a heck of a challenge to interact with in-game. Although I DO like the thoughts about Porcupine...

Re: Hungry (Sometimes) Like The Wolf

It'd be hilarious and great if sometimes a carcass would, when mostly/completely consumed, spawn a Particularly Interesting Bone that you could carry about, and play fight over, and try to get two wolves biting-and-holding at the same time for tug-of-war. Maybe there's an Exceptionally Good Abandon...

Re: most annoying thing your mate on wq has done

Of the games I have saved, about half of them have mates that incessantly push me out of the way of food. Once in a while, they'll snatch the food from me. They've also been known to push me out of the way while I'm after a hare. I'll be almost within range to bite, and then, BAM! Mate shoves me si...

Re: Another wolf computer game.

Haven't been over here for a while...yay for holiday madness. Anyhow, to answer your question about me not using DosBox, Kouga, it is because when I downloaded the game, I had dial up. Dial up is evil to download anything no matter what size it is...especially horridly slow dial up. Thus, I didn't ...

Re: Another wolf computer game.

lol, Blackridge. Glad to have made you more interested in something to waste half your study time. :D Ugh, how I get annoyed by the helicopters and airplanes on WOLF coming by and sniping me off whenever I play....especially the planes... They zoom by so fast that there isn't really time for a reac...

Re: Another wolf computer game.

Blackridge: Yup, DOS computers still exist in some places, but at this point, if they break, they're most likely done for because most of their parts are obsolete. You would have to do some serious scrounging around to get some of what you need (compatibility and such). The one here broke once in t...

Re: Another wolf computer game.

I just have to say that I find it funny how many people say the graphics are so bad. By DOS standards, WOLF has great graphics. XD You should see the graphics on some other DOS games! Remember the original Oregon Trail, Railroad Tycoon, or Wheel of Fortune? lol...Wheel of fortune only had a few dis...
