Re: Worst Games You Played?

Let's see... I played Creatures 2, and I presume the rest of them were as brutal, humiliating, and painful. Re: Anger at plan to cull 100 wolves in Spanish mountains

The plan comes as hill farmers in parts of the northern province of León complain that the wolves' population growth is higher than that for humans. So? Even if a wolf population's rate of increase soars above a human populations, the wolf population will eventually come back down because of the en...

Re: Coyote Lovers, Come here.

Coyotes have a particular intelligence and feral cunning that appeals to me. Normally I'm more of a cephalopod person, but coyotes and wolves are creatures which I have quite an admiration for.

Re: no charges filed in wolf killing

Re: "Anthropomorphizing Wolves" : another viewpoint

In theory, emotions are a useful tool of survival. They provide a motive for preforming or avoiding acitons that effect the survival of an organism. The depth of emotion can be debated, but I would say that at least the majority of mamals with well devloped brains are capable of basic emotions. Anyt...

Re: Today I saw a wolf in Yellowstone National Park with picture

Wonderful! Beautiful shots! This truly must have been an unforgetable experience for you michelle.
I like the crows around the elk carcasses, or are they ravens? Forgive my obsession the black birds, as the black wolf is equaly admirable.

Re: I thought of a possible nonlethal control method

It is an interesting proposal, and so far I can think of no serious problems with the idea. It would be useful to try it out on a few test cases, just to seee how it might actually work.

Re: Blindseer's Pictures from the Wild Wolf Ed-Venture

Those are wonderful... I cannot thank you enough for sharing those pictures with us. The wolves are beautiful , and I cannot descride how good it feels to know that a fellow Wolf Quest member, (and one that I know fairly well) has had such an amazing experience. The pictures themselves are truly rem...

Re: Burying

From all my knowledge of this world we call Earth, humans are the only species that buries its dead, and humans are the only species that have developed spirituality or relligeon, and the only ones to have such esoteric concepts as rituals for the dead. Only until the time of Homo Neanderthalensis a...
