I've always loved wolves, since I was a really little kid...
I guess what really got me into them was the movie "Balto"... I also really love their packs / family groups, as Alpha Female said.

My personal favourite is russet (think maned wolves, if they count as a species of wolf).
And if you're looking for a combination, red and grey is always a winner with me.

I'd almost certainly call it Blue, after my fursona, although Jinx comes in a close second.

I remember a few years ago when we went to a wolf sanctuary and my sister and I were allowed to go for a wolf interaction...

The pups would become "locked" or would "stay put" at the summer location while the player gets food if they need it and then the instructions could be phrased like "you have made it to the summer home! let out a howl with your family to celebrate. or, you can not and continue to care for the pups ...
