Re: Insects and Other Bugs

Found a Junebug flying around in work Saturday. I was trying to catch it to put it outside when it divebombed the other girl there. She screamed and was grabbing at her head and such. I thought it was hilarious. Later on I found the buggie and gave it a free trip to the wall outside so it could go o...

Re: Insects and Other Bugs

Wow, cool topic. Humm, I like butterflies! Where are all the ladybirds now days? I had one hanging out with me over the winter. I saw it enough to name it (Pizza). Would give it food and water. Haven't seen it in several months, though. And during the fall, I see boatloads of them everywhere. My fa...

Re: Wilderness In My Old Backyard: What Is This Doing Here??!!

Wow, that's pretty cool. It did'nt even notice you! I've done that before but it was a squirrel. My old boss had a pet squirrel when he was a kid. Used to carry it around in his middle overall pocket. I like squirrels, but as far as I remember, I've never been that close to one, though they used to...

Re: Are u a bird lover?

I have a pet Lovebird. She's never really been all that crazy about the love part of her name, but I still like her (now that she's even more meaner now, she loves playing tug of war, so we do that and have fun). She's at least 10 years old, probably older then that. I properly named her Vox (after ...

Re: Wilderness In My Old Backyard: What Is This Doing Here??!!

Yesterday evening, I had a rabbit hop by about 3 or 4 feet away from me. Just quietly hopping along while I was playing either my PSP or DS w/headphones on. I stopped playing a few times to watch it. I was fascinated that it was so close to me without spooking.

Re: What wildlife have you seen recently?

My sister brought me home a week ago Sunday and we found a little frog hopping around near the sidewalk. The neighbor's cat was there, too, but didn't care one bit about the frog. I thought it was funny :) And speaking of frogs, my room is in the second story of our house and I've found two frogs up...

"What would happen if predator was friends with prey?" You'd get funny pix like this more often: http://failblog.org/2008/05/08/predatory-instinct-fail/ My aunt sent me a forward of a leopard being really nice to a mouse (ie- not eating it). It was just trying to push it away from it's food instead ...

Re: Pokémon

I'm still playing my Pokemon Pearl. I have never beaten a Pokemon game, but if I actually had the determination to, I'd of beaten one by now (I get bored or find something else I'd rather play and forget my Pokemon for a while). I enjoy the games, mostly because you can name all of the Pokemon you g...

Re: Opossum in a Amusement Park!!!

I've seen live ones before...that my dog cornered. Man they get really angry when cornered and in fact, good idea to actually leave them alone when you do find one (ie- just watch). My dog liked to fight them, though (she always won, despite how nasty they can get). Possums hiss, if you've never hea...

Re: Albino Deer

Getting off subject, but white tigers are neither albino is leucistic. It's a genetic variation, in the same way that a wolf can be grey, brown, etc. It's a bad genetic variation that is not normally natural in the wild. A video about White Tigers: Fact Vs Fiction (from Big Cat Rescue): http://www....

Re: Bunny

I had thought about getting a bunny at one point. I did some research and they can be very...temperamental, not to mention a handful. I also realized I just don't have the time for one (a dog would work better for me, which we may be getting). Bunnies require a lot of care and attention. I would sug...

Re: Wilderness In My Old Backyard: What Is This Doing Here??!!

At my old house I had the weirdest and coolest pets and visiters! In my backyard we had deer, bears, (black bears) rattlesnakes, scorpions, mimic birds, beavers, and everything else under the sun! We even had a PET mountion lion named Mac! I would go outside everyday and catch the non-poisonous sna...

2007. Either demo or the December release. Not sure which. Didn't bother with the forums until this account (unless I had another account that I forgot the details to).

Re: Strange and Mysterious Bird in My Backyard

Does the cage happen to have any sort of little doors on it that slide up (like where you could put a feeder?). Perhaps the bird pulled them up to get out. XD But its still very wierd, how does a bird learn too open cages? My bird can open her cage doors. I use a key chain to keep the main door shut...

Re: What is your top five favorite animals?

I'm more into insects, so it'll be a mix with insects and other animals:

1. Cicadas (esp. dog day cicadas)
2. Birds
3. Moths
4. Rabbits
5. Squirrels
