Re: Music while playing - General discussion

I don't really like the music on WQ and typically mute it, but I usually have to turn the other music I'm listening to up because the sound effects can sometimes irritate me x3 You can mute the sound effects also using Windows Mixer... just mute wolfquest when it is open, it will remember your choi...

Re: How would you react to...

I try to stay calm and remember that it is just a wolf nothing too major. I would probably just try to move real slow and put the flashlight off (I hate using flashlights btw, they make more harm than good to your night sight  ). I would not shout my pet or anything, I would just make sure whi...

Re: Favourite Time of Day in WolfQuest

Re: What level role-player are you?

Well, I try to be honest and say 2A... I have played a lot of rpgs, but I have played them like singleplayer... So, the WQ is the first game I have played and tried to communicate with the other players. That is why I keep my points such low, because I guess that was about community role playing and...

Re: Running vs. Walking?

In SP I did run all the time... I just wanted to complete it. In MP I prefer walking, easier to chat at the same time and I don't have any hurry (unless I am hunting). I also enjoy the landscape more when walking or just being still :D

Re: Pack Or Loner?

Well, I prefer to be loner... I get more freedom and I meet more random people :D Sometimes I need to brb some time, and it is easier in loner... I have also some friends who play as loner (or with me), so I go through the loner games first...

Re: Music while playing - General discussion

I use just the natural sounds (and I hate the "rally" sound). I think it is because I play at night (usually 1am to 4am), and when I listen music, I listen it loud  I would have even more angry neighbors  If I would play it in day time, I would probably listen some old rock'n'roll or ...

Re: RolePlay or Chat?

It depends what the other wolves do... Sometimes I do chat/role play hybrid, but usually just role play (because the chat is really hard for a foreigner as I :( ). When I met someone interesting or I am playing with the few friends I have, I would prefer chat... I don't run out of words, usually my ...

Re: How close did you ever get to a wolf?

Yes I have... I have visited all zoos at my country and a few from Sweden. Almost every zoo has a wolf cage. I have actually even touched one when I was young, learned afterwards that they are dangerous and touching caged animals is forbidden  Anyway, luckily I touched it at the back and did t...

Re: “ Do Animals Have Feelings? ”

Of course they have! Emotions are just chemistry and any animal that has good nervous-system and good brains is capable of "feeling"... They sometimes don't use this potential for some reason, good example for not using something useful, is why monkeys don't speak. They have full biological and soci...

Re: have you ever dreamed about being a wolf?

Actually yes, I have :) I have lots of dreams that are connected to animals and nature. I think it is because I have "studied" (I'm not a "good" student, I didn't do my homework and I didn't read to any exam. Still I was one of the best at school...) biology and part of me wants to escape all stress...

Re: Wolves as Pets: Your Opinions.

My answer is that, no they are not "pets". Firstly wolves are pack-animals, it is cruel to try raise them alone. "Pet wolves" also have social troubles because of that and their behavior is so different compared to wild wolves and dogs, so they bring more trouble to their "parents" as anyone could t...
