Re: General Bird of Prey Discussion

Did you know that WILD golden eagles prey on adult reindeer! Golden eagles can take down wolves, too. It's usually falconry eagles, but wild ones are certainly capable of it (though less inclined to make an attempt)! Nice fact! could you tell me about the relationship between eagles and coyotes in ...

Re: Questions about grey wolves and reptile interactions

Pups are curious, so in theory it would be possible that they'd get in trouble with a snake defending itself right? (I remember asking this and about snake-wolf interaction too somewhere before but this is definitely more appropriate topic.) Yes, this is definitely possible. Many snakes use biting ...

Re: Questions about grey wolves and reptile interactions

I can't answer your more wolf-based questions with complete certainty, but I can answer some snake ones. There have almost definitely been snakes that have been killed by wolves in Yellowstone, that's a pretty basic interaction. Snakes killing wolves, however, is less likely as most species in Yell...

Re: Frequently logged out [Forum]

Well, looks like I had to log in again after a few days unfortunately...

Edit 2/4/19: The issue is very much persisting and we're back to at least one logout per day.

Re: Frequently logged out [Forum]

Now that I've been logged out again after a couple days (lasted longer than usual this time!), the login page URL is http, secured connection, no subdomain. Looks the same as Neam's. If it's of any use, I'm currently running Opera instead of Chrome since Chrome has developed... a lot of issues with...

Frequently logged out [Forum]

Before the forum upgrade, I could check the remember me checkbox and stay logged in for several months without issue, which is something that persisted for about 10 years. After the upgrade, though, I am being logged out (even with that checkbox checked) and made to log in very frequently - every f...

Re: If two females in a pack become pregnant by the same mal

From the sounds of it, studies on this matter conflict with each other and with other facts, as do a lot of the answers generally given for why this happens in ZT2. I do believe that in the real world this would be rather unlikely as wolves generally avoid fighting at all costs, because even a smal...

Re: Current Multiplayer Problems

Still can't login? says username or pw is wrong, but its working here.. Which version of the game are you trying to log into? Forum accounts and 2.7 game accounts are separate, so you cannot use the same login info for both because they are different accounts (unlike 2.5 where they were linked toge...

The new wolf models are beautiful, as are the animations even though you say they still need refinement! Amazing to see how everything is coming together, thanks for sharing.

I would like to say that non-moderators are allowed to answer questions here, and many of them have more knowledge than the moderators as they are not all wolf experts. It is a forum moderation position and not a wolf educator position. Dani also used to be a moderator and has answered many detaile...

Re: Unknown canine shot in Montana, confuses researchers

Coydog seems likely. I don't really understand why the possibilities of dire wolves or cryptids were even presented in the article, though. Doesn't seem like it would even be worth the time typing them up for this article if they wanted people to take the article seriously.

Re: Forum Suggestions V2

After 8 years, it it perhaps time to rename the What are you known for on WolfQuest thread to something less misleading? As it is now, the title pretty much just tells you who reads and who doesn't, since many users only look at the title and misinterpret it as what are you known for rather than wh...
