What nocturnal animals have you seen?
I see lots of nocturnal animals. When i was three i was staying up very late and there was an owl outside my window. I've seen lots of foxes and raccoons and one time i saw a skunk. Every summer night i see bat, and i love how they eat those pesky mosquitos. I've only seen a opossum once, there kind...

Have you ever touched a wild animal?
I've touched quite a few. First time it was a squirrel. Then there was the to birds. The first one was a Cardenal trapped in a bag so i got him out then he bit me. The second was a warbler bird that was dehydrated so i gave it water. This time it did not bite me. Then when i was in Florida there was...

Re: How strong are your feelings about wolves?
My feeling about wolves are so strong. I love wolves since all my life. If they went extinct i'd cry myself to death  I try to do anything to help them. No more wolves could have a huge impact on the ecosystem. For example no more wolves to eat the elks then the elk population will grow huge, ...

Re: Are today's wolves preserved too much or not?
I don't think they are preserved to much, but the don't need any more preservation. A good idea is to pay more attention and preservation to animals such as the grand Cayman blue iguana (less than 25 left), the Yangtze River Dolphin (less than 20 left) The Giant Stick Insect (less than 10 left) the ...

Re: Wolves in new danger
Don't forget, not all humans are killing wolves. Tis mostly ranchers and as a matter of fact, most humans try to protect wolves, believe it or not. Also, wolves are very capable of adapting, so this disease might not affect them much in the future.

Re: “ Do Animals Have Feelings? ”
Of course animals have feelings. An elephant family-member dies. The rest of the elephants crowd around the dead elephant and weep. All animals feel love for there pups. A gorilla's son dies. She holds on to the carcass for a week.
The real question is, do plants have feelings?

Interesting topic.. :) But Since it seems this post doesn't serve much meaning in regards to validation, (other than a couple small discussions), it may be best if you add a link or quoted information on the front post that can point users to the appropriate petition website.. ^^ Even giving us the...

Re: Petition to save wolves
You have a point there. The book i read probably was outdated. Or the person who wrote it had the wrong facts, as many books say different things about the same topic. And you are right that wolves don't just eat elk. They eat carribou (reindeer) rabbits, mice chipmunks even ptarmigans. I've heard o...

I totally agree with you, skydust. That's exactly what there saying.Skydust wrote:Most animals were meant to be wild, not made to obey man. They probably think, "Why should I do all this wierd stuff? I want to be back home in the [insert habitat here] where I belong."

Re: Petition to save wolves
You may be right there, but i'm sure wild wolves have ranks. And thanks for the website. I really don't mean to argue, but i learned from a wolf book once, and you may be right but if there's a high wolf population they will eat most of the elks and then the wolf population will drop because there's...
