Re: If you Could Study one Animal for a day What Would it be

I would study some microbial life form like cyanobacteria. I feel like these guys are just too underrated.

Re: Your Favorite Thing About WolfQuest!

I also found the game's visuals very appealing, probably one of my favorite aspects of the game. Also, stumbling upon stranger wolves in Slough Creek was also pretty cool.

Re: Your Final Journey

I selected the den site nearest to the rendezvous area, so the voyage was quite short. The only real hassle was the river, stumbling into foreign territories, and the eagles, of course. I would carry one pup in my mouth and walk backwards to maintain an unobstructed view of the other pups. This tac...

Re: Wolf Hunting Group Sizes

Interesting. I was always under the impression that the quantity of pack members was the principle determinant in the success of the hunts. Thank you for answering the question, Koa.

Wolf Hunting Group Sizes

Hello, there. I've got a few questions regarding wolf hunting group sizes. How many wolves would it take to defeat an ungulate such as a caribou? An elk? Would two wolves be sufficient to bring down either two of these animals? How about if the ungulates mentioned above were sickly or weak? Thank y...

Re: Endangered Animals

From what I've observed, the vast majority of people appear solely concerned with assisting terrestrial organisms. Perhaps this stems from the vast and seemingly unfathomable amount of microbial life that people find harder to grasp. The unseen critters matter too. I think the public needs to take ...

Re: Would you live with wolves if you had a chance to?

It's like if a stranger knocked on your door and asked if they could join your family.

I laughed internally at this sentence. As for the whole pack living thing, I personally would prefer to admire them as a detached observer.

Re: Would you hug a wolf?

Heck, no. I don't care if it's mild-tempered, domesticated, or well acquainted with the presence of humans, I wouldn't willingly wrap my arms around a predator of that caliber. I'll just stick to admiring them from a safe distance.

Re: Bicyclist chased by wolf near Thunder Bay

I don't know what category of wolf behavior this incident falls under. It doesn't make sense to me why a wild animal would bolt willingly in the direction of a human. Hunting? Play chasing? Curiosity?
