Re: WolfQuest Video Contest!

I couldn't enter the contest, too much school and work and such.... I really wanted to though, knowing that I could win but I didn't... I just threw away the chance. But I doubt what I would do with a T-shirt.

Anyway, good luck to all of you who enter!!!! May the best video win!

Re: WolfQuest Video Contest!

Would it be okay if some parts were in greyscale, other than when in scent view? In cuts and sections, the whole thing wouldn't be greyscale of course.

Re: WolfQuest Video Contest!

Hmmm, I'm troubled slightly by what means we do the video. Do you just record gameplay of key parts in the game like hunting, getting a mate, taking care of pups, and so on, or do you have to add text? I think it's just gameplay since ZooGuy will probably be talking while the video is going on, but ...

Re: WolfQuest Video Contest!

Wow, this is a great thing! I'd love to make a video, and I think I might. Creative way to solve problems, holding a contest. :)

Yeah, Good luck to ZooGuy! I'll start working on a video now.

Re: Pokémon

I don't know about you, but I believe Charzard is the best pokemon ever. Not stat wise, but it's the only pokemon that's really a DRAGON. And it has epic attacks
And it's the most awesome thing to ever exist.

What about you?

Re: Canis simensis, a third species of wolf - or is it?

Perhaps, but it may take even years till they find anything groundbreaking about Ethiopian wolves, something critical that would confirm their origin. DNA testing has improved a lot, but it still isn't very advanced. Yes, that's probably what will happen. In the meanwhile, I do believe it is a wolf...

Re: Canis simensis, a third species of wolf - or is it?

True, true. Who knows? Maybe while we are speaking right now, the key canine to finding out the Ethiopian Wolf's bloodline is being found? As you have said, all we can do is watch and wait.

And probably wait some more.
And some more.
And....
Some....

Re: Canis simensis, a third species of wolf - or is it?

Ethiopian wolf is a bizarrely fascinating canid, I can't argue with that. It's probably the most mysterious representative of the entire Canidae tribe. There is an additional theory that claims Ethiopian wolves indeed is a descendant of the gray wolf but diverged from the original lineage 3-4 milli...

Re: Canis simensis, a third species of wolf - or is it?

Ah yes, a jackal/wolf hybrid would be the most likely explanation. But it seems as if maybe only a few jackals were in it's bloodline whereas there were more wolves, although it carries more traits of jackals. Strange. Hmm, that is one thing to wonder about... I'm thinking maybe a few wolves were le...

Re: Do you act like a wolf in real life?

I sure do! I actually have to have my own room because my sister says I bark and howl in my sleep, and churn my hands in the air as if I'm running. I can bark, snarl(pretty awesome), growl, and most importantly howl! I can do a deep, old wolf howl, a high pitched puppy howl, an adult wolf howl, a br...
