Re: New Beginnings
Eh, not exactly surprised that this had to happen, but I'm not really hurting for it either. I wouldn't have been able to import them all anyway, since a few of mine are Limpies, which, if memory serves me correctly, won't be in this version until later on down the line.

Re: WolfQuest, Graphics Cards, and You
Not the best news to be hearing, since my Laptop has a GeForce GTX 960M graphics card (and I can't afford anything stronger currently), which means I won't get to play the game on the best possible graphics, but, I guess knowing the answer is better than having to worry about it. At least it looks l...

Re: 100 New Things in WolfQuest 3
Hate to start off as a stick in a mud, but I couldn't help but notice bears isn't spelled correctly under animals. Although, maybe you did mean boars - I just didn't think grizzly would go in front of it. Anyway, I'm really looking forward to all the new additions to the game! The game trailer look...

Re: The Music of Sound
You do not understand how amazing it is to finally know what a Rough Grouse sounds like! Me and my friends always hear it in the current game and we don't know what it is. The sandhill cranes were a nice addition, nice to know I won't have to wait until fall to hear them now :D. I also loved the ot...

Really, really loving all these new models for our competition! And the music goes so well with them, especially that cougar prowl! It's like they're entering a showdown in style!
And that little fox yawn was just adorable XD

Re: Stand Out From the Pack!
I know for a fact that I'm gonna import a couple wolves just so I don't have to go through the process of recreating them, but I am definitely gonna be making tweaks to them here and there just to add more to them that I couldn't before in 2.7 (like giving my main multiplayer wolf dark brown eyes. I...

Ah, looks like we're reaching the final stages of development for Episode 1 of WQ3! So excited to be able to run around the new map and see all there is to see! It's definitely reassuring to hear that you're doing your best to make sure the game runs as smoothly as possible on weaker computers becau...

Re: You're Getting Veeery Sleeeepy...
Adding onto the Thirst vs. Sleep argument, there's another sim type game I play that's in early access called Saurian (you play as a dinosaur and try to survive to adulthood). That game has a thirst bar and uses sleep as an optional means to pass the time and grow to the next stage, and it also has ...

Re: Energetic Elk
I'm curious if there will be a way to lock the camera behind our wolf and have it follow by rotating as we run and turn using the keys rather than mouse, kinda like the current game. I understand it can be a little clunky and restricting in regards to looking around and having finer control, but pe...

Re: Stand Out From the Pack!
Oh, also, I have a couple questions with regards to the coats and tinting for the new Customizer: How will we be able to determine whether or not our wolf is genetically grey or genetically black? Will it be something that we can see, or something that we'd just have to make a guess about based on t...

Re: Stand Out From the Pack!
And this is why Thursdays give me life. Because every Thursday, I see videos like this, and all over again, I get excited for WolfQuest 3. I really, really can't wait to play with all these new customization options and create wolves that were once impossible to create given the limitations! Though,...

Re: Shave and a Haircut
WolfQuest 3: Anniversary Edition is taking much longer to develop than we expected — that’s bad. But a new fur shader could give the wolf much more realistic fur— that’s good! But now we have to spend more time experimenting and configuring it — that’s bad. But the final wolf will look so much bett...

As somebody who has had first-hand experience animating with and building IK systems, I can tell you I understand your pain and admire your persistence in getting it right. If it were me doing this, I'd have given it up for lost way before ever seeing what the final product would look like XD So, go...

Re: Genes Behind the Scenes
Oh, I just thought of something in regards to this. Now that there's going to be a genetic distinction between grey coats and black coats, will the current coats be separated by this in the wolf creator? Like, will there be a section listing the genetically grey coats, and then a section listing the...

Re: What's Your Favorite Howl?
* If you have more than one wolf, do you generally choose the same howl for all of them, or different howls? Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. While most of my wolves don't use my favorite howl, that's generally because their characters may not reflect that. Some use one of the deeper howls becaus...
