Re: -Howling Mountain Pack- Are You Wolf Enough? Members= 6

Re: "Wolves of the Beyond" by Kathryn Lasky

I, personally, was not overly enthralled by this book. I got very excited and got it close to it's release date but I think my expectations were too high and I slowly got bored, in fact, I don't think I read the last chapter or two. It was generally ok and I suppose there was nothing wrong with it,...

Re: Sea animals

I think sharks are mysterious creatures. And most people see them as huge, eating machines. Yes, a shark eats, but only to fill its stomach, not because its on a blood rampage. I think sharks are widely misunderstood creatures, especially after Jaws, the movie came out. But, they are very cool to w...

Re: Tigers: Majestic Creatures or Man-eating Beasts?

Re: Clean out your Closet {Please Read All}

This is a great idea Sintact, and I would join the competition but I regularly clean out my closet and give my unused shoes and clothes to the St Vincent De Paul foundation in Australia and as the holidays just passed it's already cleaned out
but it's a great idea to get more people to do this

Re: Tigers: Majestic Creatures or Man-eating Beasts?

I think tigers are stunning, magestic, beautiful, creatures that deserve respect and admiration Well, they probably spread to South Africa, but that's what they said on Animal Planet. I heard it on Animal Planet. I'm pretty sure tigers never lived in Africa, regardless of what Animal Planet said, I...

Thanks for posting this Koa
It's sad that people abandon such beautiful animals but it's comforting to know that there are people out there who care for them

Re: Beautiful Wolf Howl Song

iIt is very beautiful, though the music takes away from the howl and as others have pointed out, the 'howling' sounds flute-like rather than natural
But it was very good and I did indeed enjoy listening to it

Re: Poll: What do you have the most fun doing in WolfQuest?

Hehe well I was one of the people to vote for hare hunting because that's part if what I do when I explore (which is my other favourite thing)
Plus I have lots of fun with my friends at the 'bunny bush' in Slough Creek

Re: grey wolves in africa?

As Koa pointed out, the only wolf sub-species living in Africa is the Egyptian Wolf (Canis Lupus Lupaster) I found a breif summary of the Egyptian wolf on the Internet: Once found throughout the Egypt and the Arabian Peninsula, now the Egyptian wolf is only found in northern Egypt and northeastern ...

Re: Animal Myths/Misconceptions

Ooh I have a few that I don't think have been said Myth: Bulls hate the colour red This misconception came about through bull-fighting in Europe where a 'matador' would use a red banner to wave around and entice the bull to charge and many people believe that it is the red colour that makes them an...
