Re: Hyenas!!!

Yeah, hyenas are awesome, it's such a shame they get a bad wrap because they are really amazing animals. I already knew that they were cool but after I had the wonderful experience of seeing one in the wild while I was in South Africa that was emphasised and I saw their true beauty Though I still l...

Re: A wolf besides the dominant having pups; what happens?

Thanks for the help, though there were some conflicting answers But let's just say in a fluke a subordinate did get pregnant and had pups, would they likely be killed/left behind or would they be treated with equal respect? It's just because I wanna make a more original plot-line for a story I'm pl...

Re: Why blue eyes?

I love the wolf's natural amber/gold eye colour because it suits them perfectly. But I have to admit I am guilty of liking the imaginaive figure of a black wolf with green eyes (just because that would look awesome) but blue eyes, not so much.
The amber/gold just makes them look wild and unique

The first book in the series, Wolf Brother, has been optioned from $250,000 against $1 million. The film series will be p...

Yeah I've read them, but not the last two yet :|
Anyway, a company bought the movie rights to it in 2004 but they had other projects to prioritize on and there hasn't been any recent word about a possible filming date but I'm sure when it comes out itll be awesome

Re: Sea animals

I personally prefer land animals but I do love predators and agree that many people have a steriotypical view of a vicious man-eating shark when really sharks often only attack people because their vision isn't the best and they see them as seals. And the thousands of sharks hunted every year oversh...

Re: The Big Wolf Centre/Sanctuary List

I saw you put the Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre up there- It is located in Golden if people are looking for a specific location and you can do a thing called "black wolf photography" where they take the wolves out with you in the Rockies of leashes and you can walk with them for about an hour...

Another book about wolves I would reccommend to peope who like The Sight etc. Is Promise of the Wolves by Dorothy...
