Re: Why blue eyes?

Wolves can also have blue and icy grey. icy grey is NOT blue. Really wolves well k9s can have almost all colors. I seen a wolf wih purpleish blueish eyes if i believe right. it was obviously photoshopped. its common knowledge that wolves cant have blue eyes, its only a thing that comes in dogs. Per...

Re: Why Wolves

well, i've noticed that many people are saying "misunderstood" but actually wolves are very "understood." in my opinion, people are over-exaggerating. wolves used to be misunderstood, not anymore. coyotes are much, MUCH more misunderstood I think coyotes should be more understood. I went to go see o...

Re: Why blue eyes?

Oops, uh, Rip-Tide666, I was talking to Cowgirl101. I agree though. And again, in the intrest of facts: "THE WOLF ALMANAC" by Robert H. Busch, Published year: 2007: pg. 83: Pups eyes "gradually change to a yellow-gold by eight to sixteen weeks, though sometimes their eyes can change color much late...

Re: Why blue eyes?

The story of The Call of the Wild is Fiction. The few cases I've heard of wolves having a somewhat blue pigment in the iris is when they don't grow out of their puppy colours....soemtimes it takes longer for their eye colour to change for whatever reason. But it is agreed upon by most researchers t...

Re: Why blue eyes?

Well, you see, I see A LOT of people on WolfQuest who are obsessed with wolves with blue eyes, even though any wolf who isn't blind, nor a puppy, it's impossible. Why is it that everyone LOVES wolves with blue eyes? (even though like I said earlier, its impossible) I don't see anything amazing abou...

Re: Why blue eyes?

I agree with Songdog, it IS pretty annoying

And for Kivia, blue is actually quite a natural eye color for a wolf-dog  especially if its a mix of a husky

Re: Why blue eyes?

well role play is using a made up characater in your own fictional story setting. Maybe its the contrast people find alluring? I think its more role play or fiction based than based on science. I agree with the contrast bit. ive seen many pictures of wolves with blue eyes, and they are usually star...
