Re: Buying a computer? Some suggestions

You don't even need to make a new topic-- you can ask your questions right here :) Lots of us are happy to help-- what kind of computers are you looking at? I'm currently looking for something that can handle multi-tasking (Microsoft, music in the background, speedy internet) and support the game o...

Re: Buying a computer? Some suggestions

Do be mindful of the fact that the original post is pretty much outdated by now -- the market moves fast! Feel free to bounce any purchase ideas off of the kind people in here, though; from what I've seen plenty of people are happy to share their hardware knowledge or assist in research. Oh silly m...

Re: Pack Central FAQ

I do apologize if my question has already been asked; I’ve been in the process of making a thread for a group in which I haven’t published yet. I’ve been studying the rules as I make the thread, and while I think it fits the guidelines, I tend to have a slight worry/doubt that something will be mis...

Hello Journeyers,
I will be back in action Wednesday for a quite post. I hope everyone meets with the Arch soon; tired of this stand-still in the RP!

Re: ۵ --- The Rain Pack | New | Member Count = 1

I don’t mean to “bump” or intrude on your thread, but you have quite a lovely thread and I’ve been paying close attention for quite some time. How’s the activity looking right now?
I figured I’d inquire now before sending in an application just in case the pack is abandoned.

Re: The Fate of the Mate

I voted “all of the above,” as I understand that your mate has a personality of its own, and could end up dying due to some actions it may make! I don’t think the player to go through their journey alone though. Perhaps not reviving your mate as that’s not realistic, but finding another dispersal w...

Re: Herd Any Good Names? (Help us name the elk herds!)

I've always liked obscure words, for example, words in Latin or Greek. However, I feel like it needs to tie in with the theme of the national park. My ideas for naming the elk herds are the titles of the historic nomadic Native American tribes that inhabited Wyoming (where most of Yellowstone is si...

Excellent work, WolfQuest team! Having different personalities for mates and pups is an incredible detail from the game developers. This will make sure the game will always be different with outcomes.

Re: All about the new birds of 2.7.2

I know having birds seems like a small detail to some, but as a nature lover, this makes me feel even more in-tune with my surroundings. It feels like I’m the one standing and listening to our feathered-friends oppose from my wolf character. Thank you for sharing, Pepper!

Re: Animal Hoarding

I think you should report them to an animal welfare organization like the RSPCA, because that is just not right. It doesn't matter whether or not some people consider them to be "pests", or think "they're just rats", no animal should be treated like that. I’ve reached out to some organizations in m...

Re: Your wolf's name and its origin?

My wolf’s name is Leona; it seemed like a fitting name for my gal during a game of scrabble. The word was “alone,” but for some reason that name popped into my head before the correct word did. On the plus side, she is rather independent. I had a second one, male, named Enigma because he’s mysterio...

Re: WQ 2.7 costs $10. Is it worth it?

I think $10 is more than fair, and also fits the audience of its players as well. A lot of time and patience to detail, as well as deep planning to maintain the standard of realism and being educational.

Re: Which animal is the most fun to hunt?

I enjoy chasing hares the most, but a chase from a coyote always warrants enjoyment. I like seeing how fast my wolf can go, and something smaller is always easily for me. My wolf takes hits from big-game prey and will die before any serious damage can be done.
