Wolves fighting?

I've got another question, but this one applies to wolves and fighting. I have heard somewhere (I forget the exact source) that wolves mostly bluff and try to scare away opposing wolves (or wolves from another pack) instead of fighting. But, if they have to fight, they will. Is this true?

That's kind of a bummer, I was hoping that maybe if I could be kicked out I can join another one. Ah well, it's still a great game. (Even better now that I was told how to save...>.>)

Re: Another wolf computer game.

I've been wondering, is there a way for you to be kicked out of a pack? Because I've tried all that I could think of, and I'm still in a pack. In a scenario, even when all other wolves in my pack died but me, it still said I was in the pack.

Paw Traction

I was wondering, and this may be a dumb question, but do wolves' paws grip on all terrain? (obviously on dirt and dry ground they do, but do they slip more often on mud or ice generally, or does it differ for each wolf?)

Re: Another wolf computer game.

isn't it: mount c c:/WOLF c: WOLF.EXE Works for me... I've got a separate Folder called WOLF and unzipped DOSBOX and the files of WOLF into it.. You don't have to type in the .exe if there is only one file called 'wolf'. DOSbox assumes that if you just type in 'wolf' then you must want 'wolf.exe'

This should be in the 'pack' subform of 'wolfquest general' discussion.

I'm already in a pack, sorry.

Re: Another wolf computer game.

To play the game: 1. Go to your C Drive, and create a folder (I named mine 'dosboxgames') and unzip the wolf.zip there. 2. Open up dosbox and type: Mount c c:/dosboxgames c:/ wolf and it should load. Did you do that? After each line, you have to hit 'enter' on your keyboard for it to be put into DO...

Re: Another wolf computer game.

You can't save scenarios but you can save in simulation mode.. Rightclick, search options, click it, on the left side there should be something to save.. Oh, thank you! Re: Another wolf computer game.

I've got a question. I've been playing this game for quite awhile now, and I have noticed there is no save feature. What I want to know is: Is there a command that you can type in DOSbox that enables the game to 'save state'? Or is there a save option and I'm just not aware of it?
