Re: WolfQuest Multiplayer Plays and skits

I think this is a great idea , Ember ! ^^ I was a part of a topic like this in the past but I'm afraid we never ended up organizing an official meet on MP.. due to connection and time issues and such.. Hopefully this will go further and get some successful interest flowing! Best of luck! I may have...

Re: WolfQuest Soundtrack -- Your opinions?

I really only notice myself paying attention to the main Soundtrack of Slough Creek.. but I listened for the music and now realize there are quite a few neat little tracks that play throughout the game and levels. Tonbei , thanks for doing that! I had no idea that the tracks were offered.. ^^ I may...

Re: WolfQuest Update

I assume the forums will be around for quite a while, although a lot of users will most likely leave due to the lexicon chat being taken away there is still quite a large majority of active members who don't play the game. There's probably never going to be a number to how long it'll be until the f...

Re: Wolf vs. 2 Coyotes

That's pretty cool! ^^ For a while there I actually thought that the wolf was going to get through, but I guess not! Coyotes are tougher then they look!

Re: Green Paws II | M = 15

I actually heard a similar story to this, but referring to a different species of bird as well as the impact it had on the fish in that area. Im surprised they even allow lead fishing gear after discovering the danger this substance possesses on health in general. Shame to hear it now reflecting on...

Re: Manitoba woman survives wolf attack

This is quite a story! It's definitely not common for a wolf to simply attack a person on the side of the road for any reason. They did say it was either hungry or sick, but either way, this lady is lucky to have survived. The wolf could have done much further damage than it did, and although it wa...

Re: The Shaun Ellis criticism thread

I've read several books that have referred back to Shaun Ellis's work as well as seen a documentary on him and his wolves. Quite an interesting researcher and I do find some of his studies quite intriguing. Although I can definitely agree that his methods are inaccurate in some cases, I have to giv...

Re: Nature & Wildlife Photography General Discussion

I have two cameras I use -- my "everyday" camera, which is an old Canon Powershot s3 IS and my new baby, a Canon EOS Rebel T4i. How did I miss this post? Haha ~ I just got my new camera. The Canon EOS Rebel T3i. It was cheaper than the newer t4i and was on sale.. so went with the step down version....

That bird is 62 years old!? That's impressive! Not to mention that it's now taking care of a healthy baby. Very neat. And quite shocking. ^^ Thanks for sharing Scorps!

Re: Local canids (non-pets)

In our area, we have many many coyotes, so it's not unusual to see these guys on a daily basis. We also have foxes (which im guessing are Red Foxes) seen every so often. ^^ I definitely have thought about possibly seeing wolves in the area, but they are more common West of here. :)

Re: Wolf Documentaries

Just watched a newer wolf documentary called Expedition Wolf. Was about wolves returning to the cascade mountains and moving south. Thought it was pretty good and I enjoyed both Part 1 and Part 2. ^^
