Re: WolfQuest Update

Nightangelwolf is correct. The plan is to update some of the game n' community FAQs to reflect the new changes, remove non-WQ related forum categories/topics (although I think they'll keep the wolf-related stuff too). The idea is that while people will no longer be able to post on the forums to cha...

Re: WolfQuest Update

Hi folks -- My apologies for the lack of information, but truthfully, there hasn't been any more news or updates in regards to the status of the game lexicon and forum. Last time I heard from Dave (Eduweb), he was still waiting to hear back from the MNZoo WQ administrator too. From what I heard last...

Re: WolfQuest Update

While there has been much discussion about removing the chat lexicon in favor of a ‘phrased chat’ (with the chat created by selecting from a list of pre-determined phrases), we hope the inappropriate language and behavior will diminish enough so we won’t have to do this anytime soon. We do know, ho...

Re: WolfQuest Update

Let me clarify, but please to aware I cannot give you details until I get those from the WQ Staff as well as permission to do so: 1) The game will still be available for download. There just will be NO UPDATES or NEW EPISODES/CONTENT . 2) Multiplayer will still be available, but the lexicon will be ...

Re: WolfQuest Update

Thanks, I appreciate the understanding! :)

So, I'll try my best to use this thread to continue to post updates about the game when I hear back from the WQ staff.

Re: WolfQuest Update

Nightly-Howler, Thank you for your interest in expanding on the WolfQuest universe, but let's keep this topic pertaining to the status of Eduweb/MN Zoo's WolfQuest. Any other game discussion, remakes/spin-offs, etc should continue on a separate thread, please. I want to use this thread to inform the...

Re: WolfQuest Update

Kouga, filter or not, please remember to use appropriate language, as this is a family friend forum. I know you're frustrated, but getting "mad" at Dave is not going to help. He's not letting the game die --- please remember the game will still be available for download for quite some time. So, it's...

Re: WolfQuest Update

Hi folks --- I have spoken to Dave personally and he says there's a lot of really technical, practical, and liability issues involved, which is why he has no interest in releasing the game source. He says it's nice to have a fan-base willing to expand the WolfQuest universe, but it's best to just pu...

Re: WolfQuest Update

We had some good years here. Always think of what you've learned and the friends you've made here over time. That's what made this project awesome.

Re: World of Warcraft (Mists of Pandaria)

Looks like they are offering another special for those who'd like to get the expansion packs without having to pay an arm and a leg. Still gotta pay subscription fee, but not a bad deal -- but not sure how long it'll last.

Re: November 2012 Theme: Forests

No worries -- I figured it was a mistake. I've done similar stuff like that too -- although it was my own fault, not someone else messing with my files (which probably makes it worse). :P And here I was simply flattered that you had saved my photos in the first place...LoL. Look forward to seeing th...

Re: Nature & Wildlife Photography General Discussion

I like some of the animated photos on that site -- when they have them. There was one that had this raccoon coming out of a tree stump. It was so cute! He'd pop is head in and out of the stump. Ah, I'm easily amused. I'm still an amateur photographer and really don't want to pursue it more than as j...

Re: November 2012 Theme: Forests

Is that really your own photo? o: Thats amazing! I've seen it on the internet. ^^ Yes. If you've seen similar shots around, it's probably because it's a popular photo site at Cades Cove. Here was the first attempt, then I decided to shoot it vertically -- which came out soooooo much better than thi...

Re: Nature & Wildlife Photography General Discussion

Today's Bing photo is a wonderful shot of some raccoon butterfly fish. Unfortunately, I cannot obtain the link to the actual image -- you'd have to go to http://www.bing.com today to check it out. While I enjoy looking at the photos, I've never been a real fan of underwater photography. What I mean ...

Re: Nature & Wildlife Photography General Discussion

This picture was posted on Bing a few days ago (right before Halloween). It's of an arctic fox cub --- I love how he looks like he's smiling!
