Wow, they can catch their prey in mid-air? But like Blightwolf said, they are very beautiful, never really looked at them until now.

Re: Sea animals
I love leatherbacks, their size is astonishing. Just beautiful animals. DESCRIPTION: The leatherback is the largest, deepest diving, and most migratory and wide ranging of all sea turtles. The adult leatherback can reach 4 to 8 feet in length and 500 to 2000 pounds in weight. Its shell is composed o...

Re: Sea animals
I can't think of eating whale. I don't get how people eat meat like that [such as deer, aligator etc.] It seems nasty. (Venison and alligator meat is good. ;) The Asian countries who are finning are slowly poisoning themselves since the highest concentration of mercury in sharks, is in their fins. ...

Re: Cheetahs beautiful agile creatures
I really like cheetahs, but I like the pelt of the king cheetah more. http://www.wildersidebengals.com/images/king-cheetah2.jpg They say there might only be 10 in Africa. Since regular cheetahs are basically clones of each other, it's strange that a pelt variation would occur. I love watching cheeta...

Re: Sea animals
Most divers love to swim beside whale sharks because of their docility and calm demeanor, although I have heard from somewhere that there is some kind of venom in the whale shark's skin...? I don't know if this is true, it does seem kind of far-fetched and I heard this information well over four ye...

Re: Sea animals
Oh oops, sorry. ^^" I love basking sharks, they are awesome creatures. Especially when people mistake them as Sea Monsters if they are all lined up, now that's cool. Those little Sea Monster imposters. :3 Basking sharks are very cool. =) I can't believe that old explorers use to mistake manatees an...

She knows, I'm pretty sure she was just asking a rhetorical question. ;)DominoEagle wrote:The whale shark is a type of shark, it only feeds of plankton.

I can imagen an Octopie being poisonis, some people think that the ink a octopie shoots out is poinsonis I'm not sure how much truth that holds though. Then we have the none-poisonis sword fish. I like that fish, for some reason it looks interesting. ( http://floridasportfishing.com/magazine/images...

Re: What is your top five favorite animals?
Awesome, another person who enjoys crocodiles! I like crocodiles, alligators ect. Most things people would be 'afraid' of... which I sertantly don't get much, considering it wont hurt you unless you harm or threaten it. Actually some, saltwater crocodiles, American crocodiles, and alligators will a...

Re: Sea animals
Oh wow, I wouldn't expect that. I've never heard of them being poisonis, but it does make a lot of sence. They're full of poison, that's why it was bad I nearly touched one. I think the Blue-ringed octopus is an amazing creature. Who would ever think an octopus is poisonous? The lesser blue ring is...

Re: Sea animals
When I was really young I caught a lion fish on a fishing boat, and nearly touched it, pretty naive. xD I have tons of goldfish in my pond, but I barely see them, sadly. I love those big marlins, I forgot what they are called. They have this huge fin. Both marlin and sailfish have a large fin pointi...
