I love snowy owls, like the one Harry Potter had in the movies.
I think they are just gorgeous birds, and I love the fact that they fly so silently. Owls are some of my favorite birds of prey, right after hawks and osprey.

I think that's interesting- living in such a colorful world (like reefs) you would think that they would be able to see color. but then again, camouflage doesn't work as well with it's prey.
I actually did a report on the thylacine, and I find it sad that they'd gone through so much to face us- the humans. I hope that they will have a huge comeback success like the gray wolf.
I've heard of the elk herds, but just not the wolves. I think that there are some red wolves in the North Carolina-Virginia region (I actually live in NC) and I have actually seen a red wolf. (I'm pretty sure) Not so sure about gray wolves, but I doubt they would make it. The elk herds around there...
I do think it is very inhumane to just trap and kill animals on the spot. I find it much kinder, to just capture the wolves and transport them to another area, or put a fence up. It's wildlife and they need food just as much as us. You can't blame them for killing cattle. I agree.... I think it is ...

I think elk, because it would be fun to move as a herd and stay away from wolves and other predators.
You would get to move as a herd, and I think it would be a totally different perspective.
