Re: See Topic vv

Goodness, strange question. xD Let's all be mature here, I'm going to try to answer this thing. Animals being attracted to other animals of the same gender is not unheard of, but I've personally never heard of it happening with wolves. However, sometimes in dominance displays, one wolf will mount an...

Actually, to my knowledge, only a few hundred people have taken the survey thus far. ;)

If you are fairly well-educated on the principles and practices of wolf management and conservation,...

Re: Wolf Rank Meanings (What they do)

That book actually has a LOT of very strange "facts" in it, facts that I've never heard before, and that very few other people seem to have heard as well. I posted on this a while ago...let me go find that post so I can quote it to you. Ah okay, I found it: An alternate description of some wolf hunt...

Re: False advertising of wolfdogs

Actually you're right, but in my experience, captive wolves really don't smell that bad. Yes they definitely have this sort of musky odor to them, but it's much less pronounced than the scents of certain dogs. I've smelled wolves that have gone for years without a bath, unless you count sitting out ...

Re: Wolves and Huskies

The Maned Wolf is NOT in Canidae. It is an entirely different species- more closely related to bush dogs (not real dogs) or raccoons. I need people to stop saying Maned Wolves are wolves, dogs, or (shudder) giant foxes. THE MORE YOU KNOOOWW~ Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Chordata Class: Mammalia Order:...
