It's so hard to think of EXP values since in game it currently feels so...unbalanced. 800exp for mates to appear, 15k for the secret den and 25k for the white pup, currently? (I'm having trouble remembering exact numbers). It's making looking at pelts and stuff unlocked at over 15K almost cruel hah...

Having pelts or customization options (or anything that more directly affects the player) that are unlockable via EXP would be nice all around tbh.

The scent thing could be interesting but maybe turning health bars on/off should either be a separate checkbox option or as part of the higher two difficulties. Also gotta agree with what you said about not having things like sickness or injury affect the player, because yeah, there's a fine line b...

Determining how healthy one is - in my opinion - should be dominated by what you learn from the scents and how quick they are/how much stamina they have when they run. I've made a game-intended wolf model that was pretty close to that video's rendition before to practice low poly stuff. It didn't have the fur, but it had the build. My tri-limit was about 3000 and it came out to about 2890. Really wish I still had it though. Why do computers have to die.
