Re: Ideas for New Episodes V2

I feel like the wolves should be able to drag carcasses, like in real life, as it gets very very painful and tedious having back and forth between meals. It should be faster if you and your mate, or you and friends are dragging it together rather than if it was by itself. I feel like nobody else ha...

Re: African Wild Dog

African Wild Dogs are one of my most favorite canids. They're so fascinating, especially their familial/social structure, and how each member of the pack chips in to help raise the pups and care for the sick and the old <3 I actually wrote an article recently about the painted dogs. It's got a lot ...

That article is actually about '06, also known as She-Wolf or tracking number 832F. She was shot outside the park in 2012 (the date the article was published is also underneath the title). Updates pertaining to The White Lady have not been released yet. Oh! My bad then. Someone has posted your orig...

Re: Ideas for New Episodes V2

Mine is a pretty small idea, but I got to thinking about whenever I would go wolf-watching in Yellowstone, almost every time you hang out in the northern tier of the park you would hear the calls of sandhill cranes. They would be walking along the banks of Slough Creek or the Yellowstone River in L...

Re: Alpha Female of Canyon Pack in Yellowstone Killed

Probably not a good idea to leave a distressed wolf around where a human encounter is possible, so I'm glad she was euthanized. Can you share the article where you found the update in case it's updated again? Thanks, Isela! I follow Yellowstone National Park's Facebook page, which is where I saw th...

Re: Alpha Female of Canyon Pack in Yellowstone Killed

Yes, it's incredible that both she and her mate have reached the ripe old age of 12 years! I was in shock and just staring at my phone when I first read the news. I agree, I'm glad they didn't just leave her to suffer. It is the wild, and for the most part the park service lets nature play out, lik...

"Life Lessons From Yellowstone's Wolves" Article

Hello, everyone! A few months ago I published an article highlighting the famous wolves from Yellowstone and the life lessons they teach us. I figured I'd share it with the community here in case anyone is interested in giving it a look. Thank you very much for taking the time to read it! <3 https:...

Alpha Female of Canyon Pack in Yellowstone Killed

Sad news in Yellowstone today. The White Lady, alpha female of the Canyon pack in Yellowstone, was found severely injured and dying, and was thus euthanized. Investigation is underway to the cause of her injuries. https://www.nps.gov/yell/learn/news/17014.htm She lived miraculously to the age of 12...

Re: Hunting Moose

Hunting moose in single-player is very possible. I have a strategy I use that's been pretty successful. When approaching a moose, make sure your mate is approaching the moose head on. When the moose kicks at your mate, go for the rump, bite, and hold on until your mate turns to go heal up on food. ...
