Re: WolfQuest Goes to the International Wolf Center

It was such a pleasure working for IWC. They really are a great organization, from teaching the public about wolves to caring for the ambassador wolves. Denali still loves his food haha! One interesting tidbit I learned there was that wolves will sometimes favor another in the pack. Aidan took Gray...

Re: Quick question

There is a time stamp at the top of each post, it looks like this . (I've highlighted it in yellow for you.) For forums with "no bumping dead topics" rules, I've always found that ~3 months since the most recent post is a good indicator that a thread is dead, but if you're ever unsure I'm more than...

Re: What is FPS?

FPS is an acronym for Frames Per Second. The numbers show how many frames are cycling through per second. The lower the number is, the slower/laggier the game is. The higher the number is, the faster the game is. Frames are single snapshots in an animation, and when they are put together, it shows ...

Re: WI senator seeks end to compensation wolf-killed dogs

Hmm...honestly, I'm more on the fence about it. Both sides make good arguments. There is a risk that without the compensation program in place, people may feel more inclined to kill the wolves, since they no longer hold any benefits (which isn't entirely true, but that's a different topic). However...

Re: Texturing the Terrain

The new terrain looks fantastic! The part about the grid effect was intriguing. I've noticed that same pattern before in game design and was wondering how that could be rectified. All the little details really add up, and I'm looking forward to the final product with the new terrain and vegetation ...

Re: Do you think this is a wolf? (Discussion)

I agree, it looks more like a German shepherd or, possibly, a wolf-dog hybrid. You made some good points about the ears and tail. German shepherds have longer tails that can also appear thin, with pointed ears. http://cdn.lifebuzz.com/images/129062/lifebuzz-4c37ad0be54e52a7f107014cc3a29aa7-limit_20...
