Oh no, you're totally fine. You're allowed to have your own opinions.
But yeah, I see where you're coming from too. It all depends with me, what I'm in the mood for.

I love the graphics of Okami; it totally suits the game. If Okami had more realistic looking graphics, I don't think it would have been as iconic as it is now.

Okami is beautiful and it's one of the only games I will play over and over again because it is THAT good.
I beat it so quickly though, but i loved the story and the whole game was just too much fun! I prefer it for the PS2 though.
The Wii controls with the game were not that great, and because CLOVER did not help in making the Wii version...all the secret clovers in the game are gone. It may not seem like a big deal, but finding all the clovers was actually a really fun part of the game.

The sequel to Okami (Okamiden) for the NintendoDS...it was okay, but, nothing to brag home about. :/

I think I've got about 4-5 hours in the game so far (I only play it once a week if that), and can't say I encountered any clovers. I did encounter beads, though, which seemed to more or less function as collectibles?

I really love this game so far (Wii), and I honestly regret not getting it years ago when I first wanted to play it sometime. To be fair, I didn't have the money back then, but at least I had a lot more free time! The art style is so nice, and I absolutely love the feeding feature.. it's so soothing and adorable.

The only thing that sometimes bothers me is how the Wii interprets your drawn gestures/symbols. Those little bits where you have to be quick about drawing something and have to do it right in one time.. I get stuck on those every time because my Wii decides that my circle isn't a circle until it is more of a weird triangular thing. Then it's suddenly a circle.

If it helps at all, if you collect all of the stray beads then you'll be rewarded Infinite ink & health (so basically invincibility) and an attack damage increase. :3

Whenever I am on IGN, I always like to search for news about an Okami 2. Apparently this occurred in June. I would love for an Okami 2 to happen but it would probably be some time, especially if no one has talked to any publishers.

Interesting! I actually hadn't realized they wanted to make an Okami 2! I had always thought Okamiden was as close to a direct Okami sequel as we'd ever get.

I'm not sure that I'd really want an Okami 2, unless they could do it in the same or similar animation style, since I think that's so much of the charm of the game for me. (There's no reason they couldn't do it in that style, I guess, but I see style/animation changes from game to game as graphics improve and I'm not sure I'd want that?) What would a sequel even be about? I don't imagine there's that much evil to kick butt at in the Celestial Plains, and it would probably be a bit repetitive if Yami came back and Ammy had to destroy them again.
we are not history yet.
we are happening now.
how miraculous is that?

Exciting news! Okami HD is coming to the PS4, XBOX1 and PC on December 12 2017!

EDIT: Personally excited to get the game on PC as I never had the chance to play it because I've never owned a PS or XBOX :D

I was really pleased to see the Okami HD announcement on Facebook earlier today! Though a little disappointed that they won't be making it for Wii; that's the platform I play the original Okami on. But oh well- still happy to see that Okami is still being tinkered with even to this day. (:

I also wasn't aware that an Okami 2 was being considered last year, how cool! I wonder if they're still thinking of doing it.

Sadly never had the opportunity to play Okami but I have seen gameplay from Cryaotic when he did a let's play of it - I like it. It is an interesting concept. I'd happily buy it if it was ported to Switch, though even if that doesn't happen, I'll probably end up trying to find and purchase the original Wii version someday.
Nothing interesting happens.

I'm happy to hear it is coming to PC now; I have the Wii copy but never did end up finishing the whole thing. I hope it'll come to Steam with a nice set of achievements and trading cards.

Honestly makes me feel like finishing my Wii game first, but I don't really have access to a TV where I can easily set it up right now.
