I'm confused about the notification about saving spots in public games. Does this mean we can't use the save game function in public games?
If it does mean that, then is it a glitch where a popup asks to save the game when the final journey mission starts, is that a glitch?

Re: Public Game Saving with possible glitch
Assuming you're referring to the Game News notification "Saving spots" is not allowed, loboLoco is basically calling out and giving fair warning to players who are abusing public games as private games. There's a bit of history behind the reason players were and apparently still are doing this...I'm confused about the notification about saving spots in public games. Does this mean we can't use the save game function in public games?

2.5.1's private games were and still are broken. You could host a private game, but nobody // very few, if any people could actually join even if the game name and password were correct. "Saving spots" was the workaround: players would host a public game, specify in the title or in-game that they were saving and would proceed to ask or demand anyone else to leave. You cannot be reported for simply joining a public game that is open to everyone -- no exceptions granted. This has been going on for years. Private games have since been fixed with the release of 2.7 so there's really no excuse for it anymore in the updated game.

Most of the missions in Slough Creek will recommend saving after their completion. This is intentional encouragement on the developers' part; autosaves are not as reliable as a manual save and it's a good reminder that WolfQuest is not completely bug- or glitch-free.SkrillHowl wrote:is it a glitch where a popup asks to save the game when the final journey mission starts, is that a glitch?
Nothing interesting happens.
