Problems With New Patch?

I got a gaming laptop a few days ago and immediately bought WQ3. It ran really well on Beautiful for the first couple days, but then yesterday it started running a significantly worse (framerate of around 18-20 on the graphics it had been on before). Now it only goes up to about 30 FPS on something between Fast and Good, as opposed to around 50 on Beautiful. Nothing changed with the computer, but I had just downloaded the new patch. Has anyone else had this issue? I also experienced an issue with my mate’s walking animation being kind of twitchy, but I don’t know if that’s related or not.
