Fight or Flight?

When your fighting a wolf in the social arena (whether in SC or AM) do you fight to the death (or until it submits) or do you say 'I've got to go' and run off? And, do you see what gender and type (druid, slough, ect) the wolf is before fighting?
I usually fight until they submit, but if they continue to fight me, then it depends on if i am going to die or if they will surrender. I just go into the social arena anyway, I don't really look to see if it is a druid or slough.

Good question; I usually fight until dead/submit, since I have learned that even though I am loosing the fight, the last bites I make take more health off from the other wolf, and I end winning the encounter. My foe's attacks, for some reason (not because they are stronger) at that point are not that powerful. I think it is just as they were programmed to be. I have never died because of a wolf fight; also it can be because my wolf is overly strong in Single player.

For me its either fight till the end or submit depending in what situation I'm in xP If i'm winning against a wolf for example a druid wolf then I would sometimes say "Its your move" just for the fun of it unless I knew that I was going to die after a few bites ^^'' If i was losing in a fight I would just keep fighting but as said before it depends what situation I'm in =) Anyways I've never died going against a stranger wolf since my biting seems to be more powerful the the strnger wolf's bite.

I usually fight, I never flee. I don't really care from what pack the wolf comes from, or their fur color, I just fight them. Mainly because I know I always win, and I get experience points for that.

I prefer to fight, but only if I am striving to get Experience Points for my wolf or if the opposing stranger is in my territory in Slough Creek, but it's almost always a losing battle against stranger Druid wolves... unless they submit first. If I find I haven't got enough health or the stranger is winning/much stronger, I will flee and find a carcass before death.

I always fight to the death. I really don't care much for gender of fur color. But I must say, the darker wolves seem to put up more of a fight.I find it fun =]

I do the exact same as Sintact, usually I any stranger wolf though, that's how I get my Exp. Points.

I fight till death or submission, but if I am clearly losing I will back down and leave. Then I go restore my health and give it another go until I finally get the wolf to submit or it dies.

In AM, I would fight to death. In SC, I would usually submit, because I have pups to feed.

In both, I would fight to the death- but if i'm losing epicily then I would leave, eat, and THEN destroy the foul beast that dared go into my territory!!! :)

Sometimes I fight until death, just so I don't have to deal with crawling to an elk carcass some distance away. But sometimes I will submit when my health is a little low. It really depends on the situation; especially if I'm trying to earn exp. points. Also I don't really want to kill the wolf, just dominate it, and if I end up having to do that, I will usually leave, and crawl to an elk carcass somewhere. :)

EDIT:
AM- usually fight till death. (cause i can afford for that to happen)
SC- Usually don't even bother the wolf, just scent mark and it will dissappear. I also don't want to lose health to fighting a harmless wolf, since they can't kill your pups anyways. I would rather lose health to 'bob' and the coyote, who can actually harm pups.

Well, thats my input. :D

In Am, I would usually fight to death so I can get my experience points  . In Sc, I dont really care about stranger wolves unless their to close to my den. Then I get :x .
