The ranch is on the east side of the map; you can sneak in there by going over the hills north of East Creek. :3
Well, all I did was follow the fence (On the HUD) in Slough Creek ^^! Just follow it and once you get there a message will pop up saying if you want to stay or not!

Haha! Well... I can only imagine. XD

Hrm... You know, I'm not entirely sure yet, but due to my avid bug hunting I carried a pup into the ranch with me; she did not appear in there beside me, but when I left me and my mate spawned at the Aspen Heights den, with the pup back on the hills overlooking the ranch. ^^ I shall have to test more to see if it's a real glitch~
I doubt it's a glitch, since I assume that the game was not intended to allow puppies into the cattle ranch, particularly since there's a risk of getting shot x3 Also, you don't usually spawn back to your den after you leave the cattle ranch anyway ~

Baring in mind that fence icon only appears after you recieve pups ;)

I never tend to use that fence icon much, since when you have pups, it can be a burden to just leave your pups to go off to the Cattle Ranch. It's better to go there when you have no puppies right at that moment.

Ah, true, but I'm still going to test more. My den at the time was Bison Peak so I definitely know I wasn't respawned to my den. x3

My wolf never re-spawned back at the den. I always had to run back as fast as I could, before my pups died or something along those lines.

I never really used it much. I used it to pass time. It wasn't helpful since I was on the oppisite side of the ranch:/ But it is fun, not helpful to me.

Well then a update to the game should be that you spawn back to your den... If that happened I would go lots more~

It probably wouldn't matter to me if the game spawned the player back to their den, and it's not especially realistic anyway, if you look at it from the technical side. Real wolves have to walk back, so I don't see why WolfQuest wolves shouldn't. ^^

Yea, but if it was selected to be a mini game then it would work =D

I found it not helpful. Even if you managed to get there with no pups killed back at the den the food won't carry over >.<

Like the little cheater I am, I had my dad edit the game files so elk dont respawn, so that I HAVE to go to the cattle ranch for food. What makes what I did to the files interesting is that my mate never leaves the den, which makes the game all the much harder.
[*]How did you change it? I wanna do it that way.  :D :)

Well once my mate I guess could say glitched up and just went poof when I left the ranch and I never saw her again xD! I had to re-install the game and everything just to get a mate back... (Since I dont feed the pups, it was quite hard -.-)

I am not good at hunting on singleplayer, so scavenging and the cattle ranch are the only two things that keep my pack from starvation. X3
"We've roamed the wild country
My beautiful yellow eyes,
Side by side we've hunted
Shadows dancing on northern skies.
Ah my dear, sweet yellow eyes
I've known no greater love,
Without you, I am nothing
Our wild souls are one." -J. L. V. V.
