I find the cattle ranch helpful when you live near by and can not find any elk carcasses. Otherwise, I usually hunt or find a carcass.

its kinda helpful i dont go there alot for my pups i just go there to run around and have fun, i enjoy how its night there and when you jump its a actual jump not more of a lunge and to me the graphics are better there but, yeah it is helpful :D
Maybe... It is true we don't know what we have until we lose it...but it is also true we dont know what we have been missing until it arrives...

I didn't find it helpful only due to my computer. When I got food there and came out, it was all gone. Didn't count. Even my wolf's health was low. I don't want to be negative anymore so I bet when I get my new computer it will work :D I guess it's only this glitchy one... :P Anyway just wasn't helpful for me.

that same thing happened to me too.
But i still like the cattle ranch cause it's a good place to get away from elk and bears and coyotes. (and i like the whole a night time thing)

Well, it surely is not good if your computer has no speakers :3 (Cant hear the dogs barking)... I learned that the hard way when I first went in with my sound off XD (Then I put it up super loud and almost died)

Yeah, that would be bad--to have your speaker broken while playing in the Cattle Ranch, or to just have your sound off in general. I'm not sure how long you would last, though I presume it'd be a shocking sight to see your wolf just kind of drop to the ground at random. I think the first time I was in the Ranch I had my sound way up ( though music down, I'd rather hear the ambient noises ) and then BANG--I get shot down. It was bad, I started flipping out.

yeah i think they do help because if you can't find any elk carcass's around you, you can just go to the cattle ranch and get some food

I don't think it's really helpful just because there are so many elk carcasses lying around. If there were fewer carcasses in Slough Creek I can see how it could be helpful, but I can usually get through it without visiting the elk hunting grounds at all, much less the cattle ranch.

I agree with you there. My mate is constantly hunting for food, but I never do because I always get dens that have carcasses spawning all the time.
