No, I don't think it's very helpful since it's so far away.

I don't believe that Cattle Ranch is very helpful, because most of the time it's to far out of your way to get there.

i HATE the cattle ranch cuz it does this "Auto-Save Cattle Ranch" on my AMETHYST MOUNTAIN file thing and when i click on it, the wolf that i last played on was on there or it doesnt load at all. ALSO, in the second episode, i use the Slough Creek den and it does this weird thing and when i come back, my pups are "trained" but they wander like 100 yards from the den! i hate the thing so i never use it.
im not a serious person. i bez me. no one can deny this awesome.

well...... I have been looking for the cattle ranch for awhile because I get so bored sometimes so I take my favorite pup and carry it to the cattle ranch and for those of you who dont know how to get to the cattle ranch, you follow the fence sign, and i go their and hunt and all that I personally think its useful because its fun and it gets those of you that are bored with hunting elk and exploring the places they have already explored gets you new matierial to hunt and explore! So long as you dont get shot by th farmer!!!!
That is why i think the cattle ranch is useful.

When I first used the Cattle Ranch, I was killed by the farmer so of course it didn't end well at first. The second time I went to the Cattle Ranch the food I did get wasn't saved so I just never went back. I do still go there though I make sure I haven't found a den yet so I don't have to worry about feeding pups at the time. It's really fun ^^" But otherwise I just make it through the game eating from nearby carcasses while my mate hunts for the pups.

I think it is fun, not helpful. Sometimes I get really board and go there, but it is not helpful. What would be really cool, is if in 2.5 they put a cattle ranch at every den! That would be cool! Or have different types of ranches like a horse ranch or something like that

I don't think they would put on at every den. Reaching the destination is only another part of the challenge. The Cattle Ranch helps show that wolves do sneak onto ranches and farms to hunt. If they did put anything else generally related to the Cattle Ranch I would hope they put a farm in. That way we could also hunt down some sheep or something. But I don't think that they would put in a whole bunch of them.

Well, whenever I go there, my health is the same after I leave, as it was before I went there. But it does give food for pups, however it's a distance from the dens and pups can starve.
So, it's not exactly that helpful. It is fun, though.

Not THE most helpful thing in the game, but it is fun and it's good to have a change of scenery.

well the cattle ranch is quite good. if you think in real life wolves wander past the safe zone and find cattle ranches and think it's a easy meal but farmer don't like wolves eating there cattle so it's basicly teaching you take a risk and get shot or don't take the risk and be safe but you will have to sniff around for the food so i think the cattle ranch is good :3
i'm not around much but you see me now and then ;)

I agree, but Scientists have put Radio collors on them, so ranchers can have a record of where they are within Yellowstone, and now use the Gun to scare, but I am sure some Wolves would get shot when getting a calf or Cattle.

I agree. I think it looks cool, since it's nighttime, and you can hear crickets.

The dogs send a chill down my spine every time I hear them, and I get that "Oh no." feeling. xD So, since I'm stupid, I always stay until the dogs bark, and leave at the last possible second.

I know what you mean. As soon as I hear the dogs bark I feel a bit out of luck since you know that the farmer's going to come out soon. Sometimes I even panic thinking I'm going to see them coming out after me xD. I don't know why but I often stop and listen to them bark for a few moments before it kicks into my head that I have to leave now or I'll get shot. And most times I do end up getting shot anyway. ^^"
