Cattle Ranches Helpful or Not

The dogs send a chill down my spine every time I hear them, and I get that "Oh no." feeling. xD So, since I'm stupid, I always stay until the dogs bark, and leave at the last possible second.[/color]

I know what you mean. As soon as I hear the dogs bark I feel a bit out of luck since you know that the farmer's going to come out soon. Sometimes I even panic thinking I'm going to see them coming out after me xD. I don't know why but I often stop and listen to them bark for a few moments before it kicks into my head that I have to leave now or I'll get shot. And most times I do end up getting shot anyway. ^^"

I know a way to get shot then leave, it is really weird but before you get shot, stalk away to the "portal" and when you get there, you get shot, but still get back! Works every time

I never use the cattle ranch, I don't think it's helpful

That is what lots of people have said. I never use it too but it is fun to do something else. I just go there to play in the dark ^^

I never go to the cattle ranch, it never really seems to be the most important thing to do, since there are usually so many carcasses laying around.

Cattle Ranch is OK at some points when not in the game, but i get shot a lot, and when it says "Auto-cattle Ranch" in the loading games thing, it takes up too much saving space for my project i'm doing.
Anyway, besides that, i love it! Quickest way to get food usually. The only thing is i use saddle meadows and Bison Peak den, so it's a little far for me. ;3 Anyway, it's very useful when doing certain things, like the journey if you start at Aspen heights and don't use the wolf pack transportation thing. Or if your at Aspen Heights, very quick way to get food for pups and/or yourself!

the cattle ranch is educational just not many see it that way i was watching documentary and it had a part on how wolfs would come out of the safe zone near a cattle ranch and find it a easy meal unfortunately farmers in that day could shot the wolfs now they don't

I find the cattle ranch very unhelpful. I usually select dens by it, but when I go there and boost my health and food for pups all up, when I leave it's the same as before I went there. I don't know why it does that. So to me, there's really no point in it being there.

Personally, I don't think it helps, because there is never a shortage of elk, and you need your pups to get there, just my opinion though ^^

I don't really find it that helpful as I never use a den near it, I'm sure that it would be helpful if I made use of it though.

I've always considered this. I don't find it all too useful as my den is either too far away from it or I'm constantly fighting off bears and coyotes. I love to visit there while I'm still searching for a den site though since I do find the Cattle Ranch enjoyable. It's fun searching and sneaking about to try and find the calf.

I always got killed at the cattle ranch because I paniced when I heard the dog stupid cows and their mooing!!!!

Ok well you know you can run into a cow and it will kick you out of the pen then all you need to do is run into the blue thing. and the cattle ranch not helpful to me.

Well, the ranch is no longer needed since every time I do in my game freezes! So, I guess it is not very helpful anymore
