Perhaps you could add a bit more information to the topic and add your personal opinion in regards to the cattle ranch helping you feed your pups or not.

I thought it was helpful when I lived nearby it. I would go there and get some easy food for my pups.

I think, since the recent game update (version 2.0.3), the cattle ranch has become a great way for me to feed my pups. I find it easier than hunting elk, which can be quite time consuming. The cattle ranch is also an exciting alternative to feeding off carcasses; I find myself getting a little bored if I'm scavenging all the time^^
It also depends on which den you are using - I use Aspen Heights, so for me the cattle ranch is a very useful source of food.

I find it helpful. But dont think its the fact I dont like to hunt. Like the little cheater I am, I had my dad edit the game files so elk dont respawn, so that I HAVE to go to the cattle ranch for food. What makes what I did to the files interesting is that my mate never leaves the den, which makes the game all the much harder.

I find it helpful most of the time. If your den is close, its easy food. As long as you know how to get out alive, its easy and helpful. The ranch adds an exciting challenge to try and get to the calf without the rancher catching you. ^ ^

I find the Cattle Ranch helpful. Even though I don't go there much while playing the game. I usually only go to the ranch before I choose a den, that way I don't have to worry about feeding the pups and worrying about protecting them.

But the Cattle Ranch is very fun. It's funner in my mind to hunt down the calf rather than simply having to scavenge for food.

The cattle ranch can be helpful, it sure adds excitement to the game with the unknowing of when you might be caught. But aside from an adrenaline rush I don't use the ranch as my main supply of food, though it is easier than chasing an elk across the map and back again. After the last update I haven't played the game very much and when I do I rarely go on SP, so my opinion comes from before the ranch glitches were fixed and somewhat after.

I also find the Cattle Ranch helpful, and I enjoy just visiting it when I'm bored to run around and just eat from dead elk here and there. Well, there are many times I cannot reach the blue cloud so I die, but this gives one more reason to go there, the challenge, so yes I'd say it's also helpful because I use the Aspen Heights so it's rather close and I can go there any time if there is no food nearby. >:)

It think its very helpful, though its a little time-consuming to run all the way across the map unless you are using Aspen heights, like I do.

I find that it usually only goes to the feed stage AFTER I go to the ranch at least once or twice. T_T

But it can be fun, because its BORING to just scavange, and its too hard to hunt the elk with pups. You'll most likely just end up with one pup left, and your health at 2.

The ranch is fun, exciting, and an interesting alternative. I just wish you could go before pups, with your mate, and in MP.

No! It's not helpful at all. It doesn't even add to yoU "Food for Pups" bar. I only do it for fun otherwise it's a waste of time.

The most recent update (version 2.0.3) should fix this problem - to check if you have the correct version, check the white writing at the bottom of the splash screen (the screen that first appears when you enter the game). You probably hae a later version, so I recommend downloading the game again ^^

No. I won't download again. It's just a minor problem plus I don't use the Cattle Ranch all that much.
I believe I have verison 202 or something like that. :)

I don't view the Cattle Ranch as helpful, mainly because I use the dens that aren't so close to it. If you are at Aspen Heights and if the slough creek den wasn't so glitchy then sure, it would be helpful, because I'd be there all the time.

Basically, it is only helpful for Aspen Heights Den. Not so much anyone else.

It used to be helpful for me. But now it doesn't work for me anymore, which is odd. I brought it up in the beta-version, but they couldn't fix it before the release.
