Preeeety much all of them. I love going after Cougars. I also like attacking a bear and watching try to escape, stubby legs running
I like to chase one of the weaker cow elk in Lost River, and just hang on as it drags me down the street :moose:
I enjoy the suspense and excitement of raiding the Cattle Ranch. Haven't been shot yet! :cow:
What has roots as nobody sees,
Is taller than trees,
Up, up it goes,
And yet never grows?

Cougars, since they are fun to chase away from my den, and they're also pretty unpredictable. The coyotes are pretty easy to deal with in 2.7.2, whereas the foxes leave me alone and are too fast to catch unless I have a speedy wolf.

I have wolf quest 2.5 and I have found the rabbit spawn point. Near the high ridge somewhere. Need to find it again.

Now hunting...
:bear: Grizzlies: No way.
Bull Elk: need to try.
Cow elk: fun!
Elk: XD sometimes the rest of the herd wanders to my hangout area. (The open area near high ridge, dead tree, and the "coyote rock")
Coyotes: Nah.
Hares: Fun!

I don't really know my favorite. It isn't grizzlies though!
  • Edit
It's in between the pool of water near the dead tree, the dead tree, and the two rocks. Not aroundhigh ridge water pool.

The fox that annoyed me during hunting...

Post by SheWolf17 » Wed Aug 16, 2017 1:34 pm

Well there I was hunting in the WQ, but not a cow elk, but yes a BULL ELK!
Yes, I was alone (without mate)

Just wanted to test a WELL STRONG wolf with 100% strength and 50% speed!
So I invented my strategy hunting bull elk (I was running some centimeters near him, and it did not hurt) and it was really useful for me to be strong, a lot of life coming out of elk xD

But I think you know that sometimes a person can be smart, or be “dumb“ :? And elk hurt me ....
As I had to staminna low and the carcasses IN THE END OF THE WORLD even you should know how it was ...
However, there was a carcass that appeared out of nowhere! I went running there, BUT .... I HAD A STUPID FOX EATING THE CASE, and when I arrived and she ran, the carcass was over ........
I was like this:   !

The other carcass was there at the END OF THE EARTH and I was already in that weak life ...
I went back there to kill the elk (He was already very weak, but with my hunger going down ...) I gave up because I was not going in that carcass AT THE END OF THE WORLD Just to eat a little meat!
Even though I know that if the carcass that the fox was eat, was be full, I would still kill that elk .... :(

I like bull elk and cow moose. Bull moose are just brutal and cow elk are irritating, plus too easy to catch.

Hey, did you know sitting/lying down doesn't jut replenish your stamina faster, but it can give you some health too. It gives you health up to 25%; no more, no less, if you sit there until your health goes up no more. I use this method to stay alive when hunting in general, but it's not ideal for moose. Hope this taught you something new. :D

The wolf I always use has 100% strength and 50% stamina too, and so far I've killed at least 45 bulls alone. I find that the easiest way to kill bull elk is kill all the cows first, that way you have plenty of food around, then go for the bull.

If you get your wolf to rest when it's really low on health, it recovers a little. I find this is a useful tactic when hunting elk if your wolf is too badly injured.

Foxes. They're the most satisfying to catch.
