Hawk or Eagle?

There is a bird on the Summer Den mission that snatches up your puppies and eats them. Some people call them hawks. Others call them eagles. But, it is unknown what they are, and even if it does say what it is in the game, most people will call it different names.

What do you call it?

For me, I used to think it was a hawk since it looked more like one. But now I'm calling them eagles 'cause it's very hard for a hawk to pick up a pup, so it would be more realistic if it was an eagle.

"Technically it is a golden eagle (though yes, eagles are basically just big buteo hawks), and I'd recommend you all searching on youtube for golden eagle videos- there are even some that show a golden eagle going after small dogs/wolves with their talons. Really interesting, if you're okay with watching what happens afterward.

The bird in Slough Creek is not a hawk. If people call it a hawk, then they are incorrect.
The bird is an eagle, a bald one I do believe.

Yes, heard people call them all sorts of names but I basically call it the eagle because it's the correct term and makes it easier for me to remember.

Some people call it Hawk that I've seen, however many people have called it an Eagle; this includes me.
So, I greatly believe it's an Eagle; it looks a lot like one in my eyes and, it'd be capable of picking up pups in real life.

As others have said before, the bird in the game is an eagle. Hawks just aren't big enough to pick a pup off the ground. Eagles on the other paw are large and have a larger wing span, allowing them to pick our puppies off the ground sadly.

I mainly call it eagle as it isnt small enough to be a hawk, im not sure if its golden or bald though.

i call it an eagle sometimes and a hawk other lol but i call it a eagle the most because thats what it is but i havent seen it enough times to tell what kind it is but ill look soon and tell you what i think it is later.

I just call it a eagle, I don't really care what is correct or incorrect, all I know is that it is a really big bird that eats my pups.

I call it an eagle and believe it is a golden one, also. Although I have seen a few people refer to it as a hawk.
