Good/Bad Graphics : Which One?

Post by Thandi » Tue May 31, 2011 4:52 pm

Some people's graphics are amazing; you can see the water flow, the details on the animals, and the beautiful grasses wave in the wind. Unfortuneatly, some people's graphics aren't so good; boxy looking trees, blurry scenery, non moving water.

So, which kind do you have, and how does it affect the way you play?

I usually have good graphics, since I have WQ downloaded on the best computer in my house, but if they are the best, it glitches slightly. I can't stand bad graphics, I mean, I could live with them, but they're a pain in the neck for me. Sometimes I switch around, like if I am running from one side of the map to the other, I switch to OK or lower, since that runs the smoothest, but for screenshots and such I use better.

I usually can run on Fantastic with the Fancy water settings iwthout a hitch, but if I enable the shadow setting it gets slightly slower. Nothing I can't handle, though.

I used to have trouble with the graphics/the game would freeze completely causing me to shut it down, but since I upgraded I haven't had many problems.

I play it mostly on the Windows 7, where I can have Fantastic settings and Fancy Water and terrain/tree draw distance as high as they can go. It runs around 80-120 fps, or even up to 200 if there's a lot of sky. Shadows makes it pretty slow and annoying, so I don't usually play with those.

I usually leave mine on Fast, since on Fantastic it runs way too slow for me. When I first got my laptop, it easily ran WQ on Fantastic with all of the little details added on without a problem. But I have so many games and large programs on my laptop now, so I think it may have slowed it down.

I usually run my graphics on good or simple. Since my computer is a dinosaur, it usually glitches a lot on settings like fanastic and all that. I can't even get fancy water. :/

I have mine on Fantastic with Shadows and Fancy Water checked. It only goes slow once in a blue moon, and when that happens I switch down to lower graphics for the time being.
Sometimes though, I put the graphics down to the lowest possible just to amuse myself.

You can lead a horse to water, and you can lead a horse into water, and you can swim around with the horse and have fun.

I normally leave mine on Fantastic with fancy water and shadows, since my computer's got great graphics and whatnot. ^^

My new computer has really good graphics and is very fast. So I'm able to have very good graphics on WolfQuest, and my computer doesn't lag in fantastic mode with shadows/fancy water on WolfQuest either. :3

I keep the settings on simple, even though it is not as good as fantastic, I still have a great time playing

I keep it on good, with no grass, but with all of the distance. I like to be able to see things coming from far away and move swiftly then for the game to glitch just for pretty graphics. I turn on everything, if I remember, when I'm trying to take a screenshot. I've gotten some pretty cool screenshots that way.
