Bunny Bush

Post by Meadow125 » Sun Sep 18, 2011 9:49 am

Have you found the bunny bush?

What is the bunny bush?
Well, it s a place where unlimited hares jump out of the bush. Every time you kill a bunny, another comes out! It is an unlimited source of easy food. In my opinion, it's even easier than the cattle ranch!!

Where is the bunny bush?
The answer to that question is unknown to me, but I have heard it is in a u shaped formation of bushes at Slough Creek. If anyone knows it's exact location, post here. I'll try to get a screenshot or two showing the location.

Please help us find the bunny bush. If we get it's exact location, we can get some solid info here. Here are a few helpful quotes.

I have never found it. In fact, I've never found a hare at SC at all... But so many people have talked about it, I guess it's there.
I love wolves and cats! I also love the Warriors series and WolfQuest!
I ♥ Sims, too! My favorite Sims series would have to be the Sims 3. I have played the Sims 2, but Sims 3 is better!

Hello. I know bunny bush. Here is a screen from me: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/840/ruie.jpg/Here is a bunny bush. I hope that helped. Oh and .. Apparently this is only for multiplayer. At least just for me it is. But .. Once I had it on single player. I had a puppy and went to bunny bush. And when I went to the stars, instead of rabbits were carrion o.o Rabbits are transformed in the carcass when they leave the body.
Looks like a realistic Blue Lightning

I recall (not long after Slough Creek was first released) there was a thread discussing the bunny spawn... but the subject didn't have much to do with the spawning bush o' bunnies. ;)

It's interesting that it still exists. There was also a glitch -- whereupon the player kills a hare (or as many as desired), saves the game, and reloads -- that rendered hare carcasses as elk carcasses... quite interesting, although it's sad to say they only ever offered one mouthful. On another topic, not too far from this spawnpoint there is a flower (if my memory serves correctly) that spawns coyotes nearby, in the same enclosure... that is, if you're interested in a bit of coyote-massacre-mood. o_o

Other than that, it's pretty resourceful. :) Bagged my pups a little bite to eat on the final journey, but it's worth being extra-vigilant due to the eagle and those pesky bears!
What a joke.

I know the bunny bush, though it takes a few minutes at times to find the EXACT spot...the screencap a few posts above of the map is about the correct area. I'm at work right now but if you like I can try to get on and do a video later when I get home.

Even when you are at the right area you have to run across the right 'trigger' spot to generate a bunny. And it does sort of look like it runs out of the bushes.

Sometimes when on multiplayer I go there with others and we kill but don't eat so we end up with a whole bunny graveyard..though eventually you do have to start eating them as it gets sort of glitchy if you don't.

Do you mean that you can't find the spot in the game? If so just check around that area of the map...the video shows what the location looks like in game and from that point you have to find the exact spot to run across to spawn a hare. They don't actually come out of the bush itself but the spawn point is right nearby.

If you like we can try together on multiplayer and I can show you where it is at. Send me a PM?

Yeah, I have come across the 'Bunny Bush', although I have heard others call it the 'Rabbit Hole' too. Its not actually in a bush, but in front of that line of them near the river in Slough Creek, like Rustic said above me. Just so that part's super clear :P .

If you really can't find it on your own Meadow125, follow Rustic's advice and go on MP. Someone would be happy to show it's location you there. Perhaps your game settings are preventing it from even appearing? Maybe 2.5 has removed it... can someone confirm that for me?
