The color glitch is that all pups are a brown grey color, instead of the color your wolf and their mate are. So let's say your wolf is a red color and your mate white, the pups will still all be a brown grey.

Ok yeah I think i remember that, wasn't that called the "Zombie Pup Glitch" or something?
Even though it's entirely superficial, it would still bother me, especially if neither of the parents were brown. So yeah, fix the glitch if you can, but I guess it wouldn't be top priority. I also like keeping the albino pup, but perhaps make the albino pup much more rare? Albino animals don't appear much in nature.

Nah, the ''Zombie Pup'' was when you were carrying your pup around and 'accidentally' ran into a stranger wolf and after you left the social arena the pup would look weird. xD
The color glitch happens when your pups are born the first time.

oh yeah, I remember doing that glitch all the time lol.
I don't care if they rid of that glitch or not, as it is extremely preventable.

The pup color glitch was a glitch that entered the game when they updated it a while back (I think it was when they updated to the current version, WQ 2.5) where the algorithm that gives pups coat colors based off of their parents coat colors would get skipped over, so the pups are all just an ugly brown. Just letting you know, since you have forgotten.

I usually go for the albion pup, but sometimes i fix the color glitch so the pups are the same color like me and my mate. But when i do that, it just feels wrong.... idk why xD

That's not a glitch.

In real life, all wolf pups are born with brown fur. Yes, even arctic wolves.

They probably updated the mechanics to reflect that- your pups will grow into their colours in adulthood.

Actually, in the initial version of Slough Creek, the pelts of pups were supposed to reflect the colors of you and your mates; it was not an intentional change for the pups to be wll brown, and this was a glitch. This has been fixed in the new version.

The pups in the game are around six weeks old. Pelts are generally molted and not what their true color would be as an adult and have tints of brown or gray to reflect this; the "albino pup" is somewhat of an exception to this.

Ooh, didn't know that they are aged around 6 weeks old! Well that explains why they were supposed to look somewhat like the parents, maybe not exact coat colors, but similar...

In simple terms, you let all the pups die and then select the "Restart with Pups" option. I achieve this by drowning them in the nearest water source.

Yes, that is how you do it if you didn't know. I don't do it because the thought of it makes me feel guilty >.<

I'll be glad when the color glitch is fixed in the new version but I'd prefer to keep the brown pelt as well as it is relatively realistic for pups growing up.

I usually fix the pelt color glitch while re-gaining enough points for an albino pup in the process. That way, each one is unique!

For the glitch to be fixed. I hated having a reddish wolf for both my character and my mate, and get this brown wolf. I'm pretty sure genetics never work that way.
