WolfQuest Holidays?

I had an idea when I was just sitting here on the forums. I was thinking of WQ Holidays we could celebrate.

June 15th: Administrator Day
June 30th: Moderator Day
July 11th: WolfQuest Day
July 25th: Report Team Day
August 10th: WolfQuest Team Day
September 12th: Wolf Day
October 3rd: WolfQuest Teacher Day
November 29th: Senior Member Day
December 17th: Ban Parrot Day
January 7th: Newbie Day
February 1st: Beta Testers Day
March 3rd: Wildlife Day

We can assign holidays to certain members or do a vote. If this program actually goes along.

It's certainly doable, but exactly how "successful" will each day be? Also consider whether or not some days will be more "successful" than others. If anyone wishes to go forward with this, we'd likely need a leader of some kind for each day, and said leader must be in charge of any activities or general promotion of that holiday. Just some food for thought. Keep in mind we also have the staff appreciation threads, as well, so "holidays" to celebrate staff might be unnecessary.

Certainly an interesting idea! I think it'd be great if we came up with some cool way to promote them. Maybe MP games, a role-play topic (just for that day), or some kind of contest...? Also, since that's a lot of days to remember and deal with, I think it might be better if we condensed some of them. Maybe just a WQ staff day, instead of separate days for the team, beta testers, report team. I think two or three holidays a year would be more than enough. Perhaps WQ staff/team, mod day, and something to celebrate regular users. Still, I think it'd be great if we went through with this.

I like this idea. Unsure how it would play out but I like the idea of a holiday.

Not really keen on it... I'd sooner nominate a community appreciation thread, but that's just my opinion. I'm really not one for holidays and such.

If it does happen, shouldn't "Ban Parrot Day" be run in conjunction with Talk Like A Pirate Day?

Hmm, that would be the challenge, is anyone for the ideas of candidates and a poll to decide the leader? I don't really want to lead the program, I don't have a ton of time to do it with school and such.

Like if anyone wanted me to lead I'd be happy.
