It's been awhile since we answered your questions in our weekly devblog post, so let's do that again this week. If you have a question about WolfQuest 3 that hasn't been answered in any obvious spot, post it here by Thursday morning (U.S. time). We'll pick some to answer Thursday afternoon.

What has been your favorite or most rewarding part of developing WQ 3 so far?

Will you be redoing the splash screen or will that be a surprise?

Will there be mechanics for illness in game?
Will the UI be much different compared to the current version of WQ? And if yes, how so (if you're ready to share, of course)?

I have always loved the music in WQ. In one of your blog posts/videos, you were working with Tim Buzza on a new WolfQuest soundtrack. Will this soundtrack completely replace the current one in WolfQuest, or will you be re-using some themes from the old soundtrack (main menu, map exploration themes, etc)? If you will be re-using some tracks, how do you plan to integrate the old tracks in with the new without them sounding out-of-place?

Have you guys been using Unity 5 to develop WQ3? If so, what's different, good and bad, about it, compared to older versions of the engine?

-Since new eye colours and howls will be added, aside from pelts, are there plans for other new customization features?

-Since mates now have personalities, will pups develop personalities too?

-Will the Eagle, Cougar, Fox, and Moose also receive new models?

-Are there any plans for the expansion of the Eagle's role-in game?

-Will there be turn-based social arenas to communicate with other wolves, or will we have to draw from the emote panel in real time?

That's all I have for now!

How will the social arenas work now?
What other animals will have springtime offspring?how many?
Will other animals have coat variation?
How will the new dens be set up?
How will predators and their fighting change?

Will there be 144hz-240hz support?
Or caps for custom refresh rates. 60hz looks kinda like a slideshow to me at this point :(

Will it be possible to kill other players' wolves in PVP?

Will we be able to see other predators hunting?

How will pup genes work in multiplayer?

Will it be possible for the host to find a mate in multiplayer?

What will happen to achievements?

Will there be more coat colours, like a more pure white?

Will we be able to manually rotate our wolves in the customization menu?

Will we be able to alter the pitch of wolf howls in the customization menu?

I believe I've read we may, but correct if I'm wrong.

I doubt it. He said they wouldn't make any pure white coats, so... again, correct me I'm wrong, and I kinda want a white coat too

I do agree with the ability to control the pitch of howls, it would expand the varieties of different howls. The same howls over and over get old, and there's no way to change them. Will you add that?

Will you have more than four/less than four, will you be able to choose how many pups you have or will it be random? Most wolves have more than 10 pups, and four over and over would seem unrealistic.

Along with the adjustable pitching of howls, will you be able to also choose how light/dark your eyes are? It's a minor detail, but every detail matters! :D
Thanks to Dave and the others!

- How many more dens will be in Slough Creek?

- Will we be able to see other wolves at their den?

- Will we be able to see other packs pups?

- Will Eagles have a nest to fly from/back to?

- Will coyotes have dens and pups?

Heh, had more questions then I thought...

Hi there. Make sure you use the report feature in the future.

For organizational purposes, I'll be locking this thread since some of these questions have already been featured.
