Book Drive

Post by Swoofzilla » Sat Dec 20, 2008 7:30 am

My school has a green team, so we were going to do this, I hope it works!
Get people in your school or wherever to donate some books that they already read, like Harry Potter or something. Then let them exchange their old books for some new books, and they will save money, time, and especially, tree's will not have to be cut down.

yeah, it doesn't do that much to help, and it's not that great, but it's okay.

You can also donate the books to other groups or schools that may not have many rescources. we did a drive like that two years ago, where the books were donated to a school on a reservation. it was a good way to clean out my library

My school also has a book drive once a year. Sometimes twice.

I want to talk to my little brother's elementary school for doing one of these ^^. It would be fun for the little kids. Middle school isn't the greatest for these, but they aren't bad either!

I think Book drives are very helpful! You don't need to buy books you want if someone already has it!
