This is really great, everything that people are doing! Here is what my family does:

We recycle paper, soda cans, plastic water bottles, - My dad takes all the soda cans and water bottles used by the people at the place where he works and we take them to one of those recycle things where you get 10 cents a can - we usually get about $30.00 for just the cans, and we save that money to donate for places that help the environment. My mom and I donate clothing (there is a place for it near our house) and a couple of my friends and I go the park once a week to pick up trash around the park. It's actually pretty fun! Oh, and every month or so we have a coin-collection thing around my house, and we turn the coins into dollar bills (usually getting about $30.00, like the can-recycle) and we donate that money to places that help the environment/wildlife too.

My school is having our June fair to help the environment by having a dunk tank, and people who pay to participate are paying to help the Earth :)

I get to be in the dunk tank  lots of fun!

EDIT: I just remembered that my mom has reusable bags for shopping and stuff, so we use those.
Is this the end of the moment
Or just a beautiful unfolding
Of a love that will never be?

Very good job, BlackWolf505 and everyone! Keep it like that. I know we can't see changes yet, but really, we are helping a lot to the environment.

well in the first place i never throw anything away on the ground (exept when i dont see if its falling XD), I drive no car, im using (electrical) buses, metro's and Trains. i also use my bike to come where i want to, so i dont need a car.
I will often pick up trash from the ground and im carefull with the things i have so that those things will not be broken, thrown away and replaced by new stuff.

Also, I dont kill flies and other small animals/insects, They do have usefull thigs to do aswell.

This is what my family does:

We recycle our plastics and tin cans at the nearest recycling station. We also do our best to pick up litter and such when out in wild places, one time we went walking up in the mountains, there was a pile of cans and bottles. I think some one had done it for a joke, we were applualed and cleared up all we could. Sadly there is not much else we do, apart from left over bread goes to our for eggs, (Food for food!) And Left over fruit goes to my Giant African Land snails. My friend got them for my birthday, they eat really quick.

That's something that for me is really good to read, Jet. Good job, and continue doing stuff like that.

The other day I went with my family to a restaurant. We ordered some cokes, the food... thing we usually make when we go to eat with our families. The thing is that when we finished the cokes, they took the cans aways. My sister reacted first than me and she asked what they do with the cans. "We throw them away to the garbage" the waiter replied.

So calcutale. Restaurants are really popular things, people will not eat if they don't have coke or something that is in a can besides water. If a group of 200 persons goes to that restaurant that day and each one orderd food + one can of coke and they throw it away. They give more less 5 cents per can you recycle in some places.

200 x 5 cents = 10 dollars per day.
One week = 70 dollars
Two weeks = 140 dollars
One month = 280 dollars

{Considering weekends}

Not using cars is good as well, since you spend some extra time with your family or friends without contaminating. I usually use a bike or go walking to the places I need to go.

Me too, And getting in and around with the car is a hassle anyway. But because I live in a small village, the nearest shop is half an hour away. (At home, but here in this holiday house its just down the road.)
