Using eco lightbulbs are one thing. Then we alway recycle, don't leave water running, etc. We grow our own herbs to use for some stuff, and use organic foods instead of machine processed ones, including meat. We are also currently thinking about getting a rain barrel, and are making a garden to grow even more stuff.

That is really good, Swolfy. I'm glad to know that there are quite a lot families that are aware of our problem.

Well, now that I'm in university it's a bit different from when I was at home.
For instance, even though I've only been in a car once in the last three weeks, it's more because everything is within walking distance and I don't have a car than for any other reason. But that is one thing--walking most places, sailing for fun rather than going out in a motor boat (only done that once, but it was fun), recycling the majority of refuse, using digital copies of texts rather than printing everything onto paper, short showers--though the school needs to repair the spigot so it stops leaking, using dishes that need to be washed rather than falling into my roommate's trap of using styrofoam and plastic cutlery, etc.

At home, we did some basic recycling, but my dad specifically wants to defy people who express concern for the environment, so that was... interesting.
So we're allowed to push people over walls, but we can't take their shoes?

Those simple things should be done by everyone, since everyone is allowed to do it. Really well done, Trzcina.

I don't use plastic water bottles anymore, stainless steal bottles are the ones I use.

I always get my trash in a trash bin, don't spit out chewing gum and keeping the use of bottled water to a minimum. And I moan to my parents about buying wood with the FSC mark on it.

You guys are doing a really good job. What else you think we could do for helping our environment?

I Currently have "Adopted" A highway in my town.
I go out and clean it up every weekend, and you would be surprised with all the garbage I find. When I do out, i have bags for recycle and bags for just garbage. Most of the time they fill up quickly.

i also Recycle everything in my house that can be recycled when we do not need it anymore, and we also have a compost pile.
Turning off thing when they are not being used is something else that i do.

I walk more than i drive, even though i have recently gotten my license.
I find it better to walk than drive when i just need to go across town or something.

My family and such also buy things that are not bad for the environment, like detergent that is better than most for environment issues.

My school helps as well, once a month we go out around our town and clean it up, it is just a little thing that shows that we are doing our part.

using eco-bulbs, and recycling most of the stuff we have.

also, when clothes are to small or something, we use them als cleaning clothes or something else. also, we do send them sometimes to 3th world countries.

We do have a small container for compost, and we are turning off the light as much as possible. I do not watch tv, and i do not have a computer. Instead of that, I am using my notebook.

I also try to safe as much as possible with using "clean " chemicals, or I dont use them at all.

For school, I use recycled lined paper. :D
So... How 'bout them apples?

What'll it take to clear my tray?
To wash my pain and hurt away?
I know not whether you are there
To listen to my silly prayer.
But I know one thing for sure~
I want to find a life-long cure.

Very recently I starting helping even more! On a field trip we got to see how they make paper and they taught us how to make our own, so now I make my own paper and recycle all my sheets I use to make more.
Avvie made by me~
