I know that.

41. Instead of buying a pup dog, go to a dog pound and adopt a abandoned dog. They are the best and most loyal ones.

Point of discussion: Actually many wildlife organizations discourage the practice of backyard feeding. You help spread disease.

If you insist on feeding make sure to clean the stations daily with soap, water, and bleach. Also, you may want to try using seeds (or other food) that only native species will eat. Oftentimes those who put food out are actually only helping invasive species survive.

( I'm guilty of sometimes putting food out.)

Also, bread can be bad for birds. (I looked for something more official, but this link provides the information in a simple quick format... the other sites were quite lengthy.) http://www.bellaonline.com/ArticlesP/art19793.asp

I do that all the time, and that way the stale bread is usefull in a way.

Actually the birds of Santiago eat mostly bread and seeds. At Santiago Center they just eat bread that people throw to them and still they have a very good reproduction season. Bread here is harmless for birds.

I've heard the info so many times i thought that i'd share and let people choose what to do with the info.

I'm glad to hear that the birds there haven't suffered from it :- ) I suppose it might be like how different bats have different nutritional needs too.

We should write more ideas, but I really can't think in this moment.

Just that I'm making decorations with old stuff that I found in my house and sell them. It's a really good business.

42. Not sure if this was mentioned but: Get solar panels for your house's energy!

Got that idea because my sister's boyfriend installs solar panels..
Anyway, great thread and we will reach 100 in no time XD

Edit: Sintact, I think pound dogs are equally as loyal and awesome as dogs from breeders. I don't think either is "the best and most loyal" as that would be an insult to my Aussie (Australian Shepherd) I am going to get a dog from an animal shelter when I get older, though.
Is this the end of the moment
