They wouldn't have all the stress if they would have sprung for something more expensive than a $10 plastic safety device...

I agree Solitary. This has ruined so much wildlife and its been spilling for what seems like ages now. When will this end?

They capped it, but Heaven knows if it's permanent.
Another thing that really sucks about this whole thing is the fact that BP didn't spend a penny on Oil Spill Response or Research.
Why are you reading this? You just wasted 2 seconds of your life reading this!!!!

Yes, its upsetting that people are hardly doing anything to fix it. They finally capped it, but who knows if it's going to last? And what about all the oil that's already in the gulf? Hopefully they'll call Oil Spill Response or Research sometime and fix this whole mess.

Indeed, hopefully they can get the rest of it in time before it does anymore damage...
It's a bit upsetting, yes, that they aren't putting much budget into fixing it. They are doing something, though hopefully they will eventually (soon) start doing more to stop the spill.

I heard somewhere it was leaking a little, but "not enough to really worry about" {the article claimed}.
I don't know the whole story, though, so I can't really elabotate.

Like i "said" we all have to be Quote "patient", We need to pray and hope that the oil won't take anymore lives.

How can you not worry about something like oil leaking into our waters? It has done enough damage to last many lifetimes. If they don't fix the leak, how do they know if it won't get worse? Why not handle it now when it is barely leaking instead of waiting until it becomes a real threat?

I believe Shiran means that he didn't really hear much about the oil spill, he had read something in a news article saying that it isn't much to worry about. If that is the case, and he hasn't really seen much else. Then really, he wouldn't worry about it. If you don't know much on something, it's hard for that person to worry about what is happening.
However, I believe everyone is entitled to there own opinion. Also, as Midnight said:

Midnight1101 wrote:Like i "said" we all have to be Quote "patient", We need to pray and hope that the oil won't take anymore lives.

I'm hopeful that it will hold, however who knows. We don't really know if it'll hold or not, however I do hope that they come up with another thing to help with the oil that has already escaped and a plan incase the cap doesn't hold. However, all we can really do is hope...

I'm hoping that thing they put to stop the oil will work, and hold. And hopefully they'll clean up all the rest of it, so the wildlife doesn't have to suffer anymore.

Indeed, a lot of damage has been done from the oil already spilled. Hopefully, they will clean up the mess... and keep the "lid" on the oil unit.

Wow, this oil tanker is ruining the Gulf severely. Now there's more wells leaking?
They really need to do something about this, and fast.
